Molcajete is a real gem! Very tasty food prepared and served with attention to detail. I had the chile relleno stuffed with carnitas! What a wild idea. It was a very large fresh chile poblano with an exquisite tomato salsa topping. A small cabbage and radish salad with an avocado sauce was an added tasty item not mentioned on the menu. The pureed black beans and the salad came with a sprinkling of queso fresco. The beans came in a separate bowl and the rice was cooked to perfection. The corn tortillas were homemade, fresh and hot. The presentation was separate for each item on the plate and not running together like your typical melted cheese plate. The service could not have been friendlier or more attentive. I would have preferred the choice of craft beer or tequilla margaritas, but if we patronize this neighborhood gem, that may be coming.

This was the biggest disappointment in my food loving history. On the positive side, the restaurant was clean and had very nice ambiance. It was too bad the service and the food were both terrible. The chips and salsa were equally bad. The salsa had a very strong and strange flavor, i would guess too many roasted (torched) peppers. The chips were over cooked to a dark brown. My super burrito had the "burned peppers" taste as well. I asked for green salsa in an attempt to cover the bad flavor, and they brought an orange salsa out. It was also not very good. Before ordering, the waiter said he would be right with us, came out 15 minutes later and once he realized that my friend was unsure of his order, he promptly left and didnt return for approximately half an hour. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone, ever.

This is truely one of my favorite restaurants, it offers such delicious and authentic Mexican Food in a homey and friendly setting. The staff here are very friendly and the enviroment (and the people) are very welcoming, your truely feel like a guest dining here. The dining space is on the simpler side, but features some nice works of art, and truely inviting. Everything on the menu sounds so delicious, the hardest thing is choosing what your entree going to be, but whatever it is its guarenteed to satisfy. If your looking for Mexican food, or simply like exploring different types of food, you NEED to try this place.

Hogwash is a cool gastropub in downtown. The service is great, and the Burnin Brock is the best chicken sausage sandwich Ive ever had. Fried avocado is a really interesting add to it, and its pretty delicious. We also had the curry fries with an egg. I wasnt a huge fan of these, so I was hoping to get another Burnin Brock, but they ran out. I was really happy I was able to try it. I cant stop thinking about it, so Im going to have to go back soon. The aioli is a great addition to the sandwich and makes the whole thing come together. If you havent been to Hogwash for this specific dish, you are missing out!

This little place is a gem!!! The food is perfect. Everything is so fresh. The corn tortillas amazing, Vege Empanadas and Fried Plantains - Awesome.. But most impressive was the Chicken Torta. Fresh soft bread, and the chicken was lightly rubbed and breaded, perfectly juicy and tender. Very inexpensive, we filled up big time for about $30 total bill... Will definately go Back!

came here for lunch street parking, all meter has out door seating didnt even set foot inside, was greeted by an employee outside and was serviced all outside. server was funny, got lunch set up quickly and without me requesting for water, service, or check food was delightful and heavenly a little expensive

Great service. Amazing food. Not the typical Mexican food. It has a bit of traditional taste mixed with creative tweaks and beautiful presentation. Hostess was EXTREMELY accommodating. Only flaw is that its cash only. So be prepared to have enough cash.

I loved it. The portions are perfect. The seasoning on the food is great. The servers were really sweet. My friend really liked the green sauce. I believe the tortillas were homemade and also tasty. I would definitely go again!

Amazing and authentic food. It can get crowded easily so go early for lunch. But the food is worth the wait. The mole here is amazing! They also offer drink options and have a killer michelada.

Amazing food, but a little tight in the restaurant. It is cash only, but you can use the atm in the restaurant for a fee. The guacamole isnt the best, but everything else is fantastic.
