I work right by this place, and have eaten there many times. But Im over it and wont be eating there anymore. A few big reasons, all of them about the whole "farming and cooking" deception: - This morning I saw them unloading about a dozen cartons of Sysco corn oil - while a sign prominently placed on their wall says "we only use olive oil". This is a big and unhealthy lie, and prompted this review. - The Sysco truck is there several times a week, delivering meat and other goods. Sysco is a national mass-market distributor. Their suppliers are industrial processors, and the meat comes from feedlots and animals who were tortured. Look it up. - The sign on the street says "we cook our own organic vegetables", yet I see the regular produce being unloaded there nearly every day. I wonder if they grow any of their vegetables. How would you ever know? I guess thats why the claim is in quotes. - They use harsh chemicals to clean the restaurant, you can smell it as you go by. Yet their wall also claims to only use natural cleaners. - With all of the above in mind, why would I go there and pay $5-6 for a taco or $10+ for a burrito? No sense in paying more for the same Sysco crap. Sure the food is flavorful, but all the deception and the cost leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I recommend you avoid, and go to a normal Mexican restaurant that makes no false claims about its suppliers.

Good Mexican Food with an organic and healthier approach. Never a disapointment when I go here. From the Nachos with added meat to the burritos, things are always good. There is a great salsa bar, but be sure to eat there early as the salsa tends to run out later in the evening despite having about 12 different salsas to choose from ranging from mild to really hot. I would recommend the Nopales and Asada (Cactus and Beef) burrito which may sound bad to some people, but if you have never tried Nopales, this is a good transition into them. With plentiful seating in a casual setting, Cancun is always a good choice. The only down side is the difficulty of finding street parking although there is a pay public parking garage around the corner on the next block.

Their salsa bar has just about every type of salsa. Although a drawback is no guac. The atmosphere/layout of the restaurant is awesome. I got a super burrito with no rice and beans and was a tad disappointed that it was small. Leads me to believe they have a habit of stuffing their burritos with mostly rice and beans, which I do not like. Overall decent place

Amazing tacos, fresh ingredients and an amazing salsa bar are the main attractions here. The menu is large, with an abundant section for vegetarians, and the staff friendly enough to help with recommendations. The atmosphere and decor of Cancun Sabor also really helps define the restaurant, making you feel at home in a sense.

What other taqueria farms their own organic vegetables with flavors and music to match, all at a very affordable price? Unrivaled salsa bar: real complex, diverse, flavor not just red, green, and hot. Modern Mexican pop playing, not mariachi, and a gorgeous giant arch window through which to watch Berkeley. Do not miss.

Unfortunately the food was cold in tempature and lacked taste (spiceless) After I ordered my food it was ready in about 1 minute . In my experience that usually means not much care was put into the preparation . This is nothing some heating devises and some cumin couldnt fix . The ingedients seeemd clean and healthy .

Im not sure whats going on here: everyone else I go with likes this place, but whenever I go I always think the food is bland and dry. I think I have bad luck at the salsa bar too, because mine always taste off (a sort of metallic taste). Ive been here half a dozen times and just never have any luck, its super odd.

Some of the best Mexican food youve ever tasted! And it just so happens to be organic. A hidden gem!! Street parking only. Step outside the box because everything on the menu is delicious. The salsa bar is also out of this world. So many amazing options with fruit infusions. I cant get enough of this place!!

We always have a great time at Cancun; their crispy tacos are our favorite! The meat is so well-seasoned, all the veggies are fresh, and the salsa bar is enticing. Prices are affordable, and the huge wooden tables make it so easy to sit together and eat family style. An all-around great restaurant.

I got a crispy taco for $5. It was sooo yummy. It came with chips and you got to pick your own salsa. We came as a large group and took over a long table. It was really loud in there so it was hard to talk to anyone else except the people right next to you, but the food and price was worth it.

The flour quesadilla with pastor (BBQ pork) is very good. In fact all their flour quesadillas are good. However they may not be very easy to find on the menu. Ive been coming to this place for over 15 years, although the price has increased they never disappoint.

typical Mexican food you order and wait a bit and then your eating. The salsas are always very good and with lots of choices to choose from so every visit can be a little different. Nice place for lunch with good portion sizes so I will keep coming to Cancun.

Great Berkeley restaurant. Fresh local, organic ingredients. Wide variety of burritos and fajitas. Big, hearty portions and made with olive oil. Try over 10 different salsas including garlic, strawberry, mango, etc. Love this place!

A little hard to find, but a great Mexican joint right in the middle of Berkeley. The salsa bar is amazing. Apparently they grow most of their own ingredients, which definitely adds to the taste, but adds a little to the cost.

Quality and the feeling of an authentic ethnic restaurant was definitely there. Loved the unique flavors. Maybe being a little picky, but the family style platter definitely had relatively smaller portions than the individual.

Go for the salsa bar alone! Awesome, fresh salsas are available to in-restaurant diners and the burritos will take you a while to work your way through due to their large size. Definitely make this a stop if your near Cal.
