How cool is it to have this bakery so close to the bus station? We live around Lake Merritt and so we were waiting for the 339 bus that takes you up to Chabot Science Center so that we could hike to Redwood Regional Park on Sunday! While waiting for the bus we were getting hungry so we hoped across the bus station to this lovely bakery. They had so many great options from savoury to sweets and freshly baked breads! Already hooked!!! We got 2 ham and cheese morning buns and then we came back after our hike to buy some sweets just before they shut at 6pm. Friendly service and amazing treats. Highly recommend if around the area!

Stop by almost weekly. Working through the pastry menu. So far so good. I like the coffee, but Im not that particular about coffee. Cheesecake slices are very good. Not crowded. You can relax and read while finishing your treat. Bread that Ive had has also been very good. I will continue stopping by.

The service is fantastic, very friendly workers and very community oriented. The food is baked fresh every day, their breads, croissants, and morning buns are the best in the bay area. The cakes and fruit tarts are great for special occasions or whenever I have company. I very highly recommend.

This place is SO freaking tasty! Friendly staff, good no frill coffee, and prices are reasonable for the quality of baked goods. Who doesnt love a perfect croissant? This is a great place to go if you are in charge of bringing the pastries to a meeting or gathering.

What a find on Piedmont Ave. There are many cafes on this side of Piedmont but La Farine stands out with its very good filtered coffee and unparalleled pastries. We tried the morning bun and it was good. Looking forward to more visits.

One of our favorite bakeries. Got our wedding cake here so full of good memories. Staff is always friendly and helpful. A wonderful bakery to get well made classics and favorites. Morning buns and Swiss twinkies are my favorite!

Cant get enough of this place! Their bread is fresh and so delicious, baguettes included of course. The eclairs are ridiculous!!! And I got my birthday cake here, it was amazing! My favorite bakery.

Fantastic pastries, single cup drip coffees, breads as good as any bakery this side of Lyon. Dont leave without a morning bun and a cup of Guatemalan.
