This place is AMAZING. I had a total of 5 different pastries (in the span of two days) and was blown away by each one! How many bakeries can do that? Quiche? Great. Croissant? Excellent. Almond croissant? Al-mazing. Lemon curd croissant? Uh, hello, lemon curd! Ham & egg croissant? Fantastic! And its made fresh daily! Fresh, delicious pastries win me every time. One sad thing is that they dont warm it up for you so you may end up with a cold pastry. An amazing-tasting cold pastry but a cold pastry. If you can wait until you get home to toast it yourself, do it! You wont regret it. Until my next pastry indulgence.

Wow, authentic French pastries -- finally! Its set a much higher bar than the bakery that previously occupied the space. The cashier was outgoing and helpful with providing descriptions of the less familiar pastries. The almond croissant was divine and I liked the savory currant bun.

Wow! This is a small bakery (meaning the selection isnt huge), but the stuff they have is incredible. My favorite are the gruyere cheese rolls, though their pastry, eclairs, quiche, ... are all wonderful. (Im drooling just thinking about it!)

Incredible baked goods here. My favorites are the walnut coriander scone and the seasonal tarte tatin, which is to die for. There was my life before I had Fournées tarte tatin and there is my life after. Now nothing will ever be the same.

Thank you, Fournee, for the most beautiful and most delicious wedding cake Ive experienced. The cake was a yellow cake with many layers of chocolate ganache and salted caramel filling. Simple design, complex flavors. So perfect!

The baguette is 100% legit. The croissant is unparalleled in the bay area. Canalé de Bordeaux are rustic and delicious. This place is a treasure. Also noteworthy is the tasty artwork on the walls. Keep your eyes open for this.

Very nice croissants for the East Bay, comparable to Hearth in SF, although the latters chocolate ones have a better honeycomb structure and a little more chocolate than Fournee. Also other nice pastries and cool thin brownies.
