First off, when I step into the restaurant the floor is dirty and the tables are a mess. There are muddy footprints in the entrance and they go into the bread selection row. The tables are full of greasey marks from old crossaints and spilt milk and sugar packets. This is absurd. This shouldnt be an issue, as the cleaning staff should have resolved this either after a heavy flow of customers or during their cleaning hours or both. Additionally, the chairs are leather, which is soft and comfortable but they are scattered across the table masking the restaraunt from looking like it has seats. The very fact there is trash on the table makes me hesitate to sit, as I think someone simply left their seat. Dont get me started on the drinks. The pinneaple juice is watery and lacks flavor. It was old pinnaeple ground up from a plastic coffee container. This cafe is sad.

I always enjoy the occasional stop at Paris Baguette, and it has to be occasional because I do like quite a lot of their pastries, and their very aesthetically pleasing, perfectly not-too-sweet cakes are pretty much the standard for birthday celebrations. The cream cheese doughnut, tapioca bread, fruit pastries, savory pastries, and chocolate bread are the most dangerous items for my suffering waistline. Wait, I just listed everything there, didnt I? I do notice that this location is a little more unkempt than the ones I have been to in South Bay, but Im guessing that being next to the BART station and frequented by college kids has something to do with it?

I just waited for 30+ for smoked salmon, when I checked in about 15 minutes in the front register the woman said its coming. Waited another 15 minutes. Walked up and asked for a refund and she said I think its coming right now. Then magically it showed up. It was rediculous. I mentioned it to them and they claimed the ticket came late. Uh, why? Doesnt make any sense. Not a good reason sorry. I understand if the order got lost or even if it was late but, only one person asked me if I was waiting for something at about 5 minutes in. No one seemed to care I had been there for 30 minutes. Bad service. Never eating here again.

Great location and good pastries. The coffee is so-so, but I have noticed some improvement since my first visit. There are some power outlets and the Internet mostly works. The staff is welcoming and the place is always full on weekends. I was impressed by the huge windows that let the natural light in all throughout the day.

Tasty Sandwiches Came in for a quick bite at around 3pm. There were seats around. Not too packed. I ordered the Maple & Bacon Cheese Melt sandwich. The portion feels more snack-size than a lunch / dinner. But then maybe I was hungry. The sandwich was quite delicious. Got an iced coffee too which was alright.

I went today to buy a cake today and they told me that they could not sell me one because their CEO is coming to visit and they need all the cakes for display. I dont think any CEO would prefer for them to tell a customer they cant sell it just to have it on display. Horrible customer service!

Terrible. An employee told me to wait in line for the bathroom key (7+ people in line) after she clearly saw me buy a coffee. The coffee is terrible. The savory pastry I had was cold, not even warm. What good is the wifi password if the internet does not work. Never coming back here again.

We went there and order cake and cafe. Seller took the cake without gloves!! When I ate the cake, there was a plastic inside. I showed to the personnel. They even didnt apologize, just want to offer another cake which I didnt accept. Dont go there, it is supper dirty!!

The food is inexpensive and good, perfect for a break between classes. The place has a good vibe and enough space to pretty much always get a seat. The cashiers are nice and helpful. I wish the sandwiches changed more often but overall its a good student lunch place.

The food is OK. Its a Korean pastry trying to sell French pastries, this pretty much sums up the situation doesnt it? Its quite popular in the area though, probably due to the fact that its right next to the BART station

Berkeley Paris Baguette has a pleasant atmosphere. Many of the pastries are quite tasty but theyre not mind blowing. The one one caveat is the wifi can be inconsistent in working well.

Dont be confused by the name, this is a Korean bakery chain. But a lot of good pastries and students doing their homework. Located right next to the BART entrance.

Nice place just outside the Bart station to grab a quick bite. I like that they show the calories on all the pastries. Their internet is super slow though!
