I just used my other cert (I purchased two) and they would not except the certificate worth 30.00 because I had the the combo platter, (Ribs & Links) listed under entree’s. They informed me that the combo-platter was excluded from the certificate. I want to know why… It shows on their menu under entrees.. The waiter informed me it was a special after the fact and the certificate did not include it. I checked my other certificate when I got home and only specials were excluded, Not entrees My wifes meal was a hamburger for 13.00 dollars. and we each had ice tea’s When I received the final bill back their was no change from the 30.00 certificate to be used at a later date. So basically the 30.00 certificate paid for a 13.00 hamburger with no change or credit. I asked about it and they told me you do not get monies or credit back.

I love this place!! The decoration is beautiful! Starting from the black chandeliers to the black leather, the wood floor and the black bar with red paint is just so beautiful..I felt I must complement that as a customer liked what I saw. The service was good and friendly..I like their black and red compination uniforms lol. The food was really good we ordered grilled artichoke and it was the best I ever had! We ordered burger and you can tell the quality is there..the meat tastes really good and not what you usually experience in other burger places. The Kale salad was delicious but I asked for extra dressing and I got it so it was perfectly yummy. The music in the place was very nice too so we had good time enjoying our dinner The owner came by and checked on us which was really nice from him. We will come back for sure :)

BEST WINGSSSSSSS EVER!!!!! The buffalo wings are the best they have a nicd crispy texture with mild heat. Its just awesome!!! If you havent tried them you have to NOW! Charhouse is the best bbq and grill in all of thousand oaks, moorpark, simi valley in all of ventura county. Take friends and have a nice cold beer while watching the game at the bar! Also try the chipotle chicken club sandwhich or the tritip!!! THE BEST!!!! Also i did a catering event at my sisters birthday and the service and food was great, perfect timing the food stayed warm! PLEASE SHARE AND BRING FRIENDS!! It is in a very remote location but GREAT food my family goes here every weekend for the last 3 months and i would hate oak park to loose such a AWESOME bbq just because of the location!

I went in today for some food to go. I ordered the Tri-Tip platter. I will start by saying the portion of Tri-Tip that i got was very small for $20. I got 4 slices only plus 2 sides. But that being said the meat was very good. It had a great char taste to it and was prepared well. The sides were good as well. I had the Fries which had a delicious seasoning on it, and I had the coleslaw which had a nice sweetness and tang to it. I would eat here again if they were to fix that portion size to compete with other restaurants in the area.

We heard they were open for breakfast. We checked their website but didnt mention anything about the new breakfast hours so we emailed them. They responded enthusiastically "Yes we are open now for breakfast." I asked if this included Sundays... "Most definitely, we open at 8:00 am on Sundays" Today we showed up for breakfast promptly at 8:00 am. Nothing. Totally closed and no sign of life that they would be open anytime soon. What a joke. We wont be trying again. "Youre fired".

Top 5 tritip sandwich of my life. I will recommend to everyone. They also have fluffy bread rolls like the ones from woodranch. Being so close to home I will come back weekly. Also they have a full bar with tvs for the games. Another huge plus, they play country music!!!

Pretty inviting staff and atmosphere, with a bar and decent BBQ. Great service and complimentary garlic rolls are always a plus! It might also be the smallest barbecue place around, but the open floor plan and layout means that you might never notice.

I ordered take out so I can not comment on staff or service but the food was very good, however the portions of meat were small for the price compared to other barbecue restaurants in the area.

Wonderful! The food is excellent. The meat is so tender on the ribs, practically falls off the bone. The owner could not be more accommodating. Can not wait to go back.

I had the 2 piece combo, Ribs and Tri Tip. Ribs were OK, but the Tri Tip was the best, as good as many others Filet Mignon. Will go back for sure.
