Terrible terrible service!! I mean it.. waitress literally ignored us, did not even care to make an eye contact so we would give our order. Seriously!!! Not very professional. If you want to keep your business up and running you have to satify your customer with sincere welcome and service. This place was a joke! It does not matter how delicious the meal is if the service sucks, i do not go to the restaurant again. We went there at 18.05 and sitted right away by the ladty at the door. Reataurant was not fully crowded. My son and I waited almost 10 mins to give our orders. None of the waitresses came by so o called the lady at the door and gave our orders. We waitied till 18.35 and i got very annoyed. I told the lady that at least they could bring the soup. She brought the soup. 5 mins later at 18.45, waitress brought the rest of the order. As soon as we are done with the food (there was nothing spectecular about the food by the way. The portions were tiny) I waited for waitress to ask for the check. She skipped me couole of times. I had to ask for the check to the lady at the door again. I usually tip them 15-20% but this time i less than 10%. If you want to have a good sushi, nice and fast service go to Sumo. You will not regret. I wish i could have given -5 to this place.

Came by here for lunch and was surprised by their specials. The lunch special with 2 rolls, miso and salad is a killer deal. I definitely want to come back for for the all you can eat deal, too bad its 2.5 hours away for us. Anyway, we started with the Monkey Brain and ordered a BSCR, Jessica, Salmon Skin, and Triple S roll. The monkey brain is an interesting thing, crab with a mushroom in a fried ball, it sounded better on the menu. The BSCR was cooked great, nice and creamy and just delicious. The Salmon skin roll was a good cheap roll and the skin was nice and crispy. The Triple S was probably my favorite as it tasted the freshest and was just clean in flavors. Nothing was too overwhelming and you could taste the salmon. The Jessica roll was well prepared and looked great, definitely would recommend it as well. The baby lobster on top was a great touch. Their specials are great, $0.98 Sapporo drafts or Sake bombs is a lot of fun. Id come back for sure.

I have been coming here for a long time with my friends and family. The service was never really anything to brag about but tonight I was really upset from their so called manager "Haley" was extremely uncampassionate with me and my friend tonight. I had a gift card that I have had for a long time to take 10$ off the bill. I have spent hundreds of dollars here and she told me it was used and it wasnt it never came out of my wallet since I got the gift card. I politly asked if she could comp a roll 7.99 since she couldnt get the card to work(not my responsibility to know why it wasnt working) She just stated at me and told me there was nothing she could do. This so called manager threw away two very loyal customers because of a 10$ dollar gift card. Upper management I would tell your employees to treat your regulars with some respect.

Best sushi in Thousand Oaks ! Sadly had to give it 4 stars due to the waitress. Ellen never once asked if we satisfied with the meal or if we wanted to order more sushi. She would pass our table and wouldnt even make eye contact when we needed more ginger, despite our trying to get her attention. We will sit at someone elses station or sushi bar, as we eat there quite often and our waitress has been Ellen several times , never again...

Disappointed. It was good sushi restaurant in the past. But now its really disappointed sushi restaurant. Sushi not fresh, menu changed, services terrible. I took my family for dinner tonight. We all sick, our stomach upset. I dont recommend this restaurant. its a lot changed.

Apparently the customer isnt always right. Forced to sit at table instead of booth in nearly empty restaurant because on Friday you need 4 instead of 3 for booth. A good example of brain dead policy.

I always see the cooks outside back smoking !! Always wonder if they wash there hands after !!! Even contacted health dept .. Stopped going after seeing this and tell friends. Be careful
