7/17/15 Under new ownership and I have moved out of the area and only dined there once under new management so below review no longer applies. Jim This is without a doubt my most favorite restaurant in Marin. After not having been there for a few weeks due to so much summer activity I decided to try the $3.95 breakfast that was excellent 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon and 2 pancakes. Though the wait person could have had an attitude due to the low priced breakfast.... she was gracious and welcoming even with a sizable crowd. I then decided I had to go for dinner ASAP and ended up going that same evening. Quality of the ingredients, assembly, preparation and and presentation are second to none. The only other Italian restaurant that even comes close is Poggio in Sausalito at twice the price. The servings are also reasonable, not your feed the world proportions, although large enough they can be split. That evening I had the best Burrata cheese on Crostini with diced tomato and just the right amount of garlic. The other dish for the evening was the spinach and chicken salad. Suffice to say another home run with a spectacular balsamic dressing and bits of bacon. Their wine list is very thorough and there are many excellent values. The servers are all top notch and friendly and willing to provide guidance on both food and wine. Almost forgot the Affogato (Vanilla gelato with a shot of espresso and topped with whipped cream) is to die for. Some of the reviews on Yelp are from Jan 2008-Jan 2011 when the business was run by the previous owner who was not as adept as the founders. One of the founders took ownership back in June 2011 and is the reason it has once again become a 1st class restaurant.

My son and I had 45 minutes to get breakfast, turned out not nearly enough time. They took our order right away and 35 minutes later our omelets arrive. It was not busy at all, only four tables all of which waited a long time until everyones food arrived at the same time suggesting that it had been prepared and just sat waiting for service. No coffee refills during the wait. The food was very tasty and I loved the greens option instead of potatoes. The greens were delicious. If you order the crepes and sausage you get fluffy pancakes...No crepes, might be a cultural misunderstanding. I believe it is a brand new owner, from Stars on Novato Boulevard, he was there and was quite friendly but perhaps is struggling to train a new staff. I hope he can turn the service around as Grazies has been a frequented fixture for us since coming to Novato a dozen years ago.

My co-worker and I ordered ceasar salad and came back without any dressing!!! So i had to drive back to the restaurant and ask for dressing and the owner apologize and game me a slice of keylime pie but the fact that i lost 30 min of my lunch hour to drive back just to get the dressing is ubsurd!!! Will not go back for a while and the last time i was there for lunch my sandwich was so dry!!!!!. On top of that my ceasar salad has no chicken may theres 3 thats it!!!! You just lost a customer Grazie!!!!

Nice clean restaurant and clean bathrooms. Parking is easy in front of restaurant or easy walk. I ate for breakfast and had an all American breakfast. Eggs, bacon, red potatoes and English muffin. According to #yelp this the number one place to eat breakfast. I gave thumbs up and four stars. Live Life Today, Travel USA!!! To visit Novato California to check out the local history, eat/Drink and do a little shopping in a great small town. #timsamstravelusa

We have lived in Novato for 3 years and havent been to Grazia before. We have had a wonderful breakfast, food was superb. Service was wonderful! Nayellie was our server, she was fabulous! Our we were greeted by the nicest bussers Raul who saw that my daughter had a collection of fidget spinners and promptly gave her one of his! It was Soooo kind and sweet! We will definitely come back and encourage everyone else to come!

It was as good as it has been in previous visits. The Chicken Fried Steak was merely ok. The Steak & eggs were the same, ok, not memorable. They have a really good Eggs Bene, shouldve stuck with what I know live & learn. My son & I were seated in the corner and forgotten, while others near us were attended to without fail. Overall, ok. I miss Left Coast Depot...talk about GOOD!

The food here was delicious. I ordered the spinach and cheese ravioli. The service was good too. The place is not too big and it had a cozy feeling to it. The only thing I didnt like was we ordered French onion soup, and we got a delicious onion soup. But no bread with cheese on the top. Which is what I would expect when ordering French onion soup.

Ive been dying to try GRAZIE...And my first experience was NOT GOOD I order the chicken parm with spaghetti in a red sauce.Pasta has to be al dente to be good and it was not.The red sauce no good chicken no good.And I love all italian food...But I will try something else.I guess I just order wrong.I live in novato and Ill try again!

Exceptional flavor in the salad. Exceptional service. My brother and I completely randomly stopped in Novato for lunch on a roadtrip. We picked Grazie for the outdoor seating and big menu. We both absolutely loved our food - chicken salad, and grilled sandwich. Really exceptional quality, and fast too. Wish we could go back!

Breakfast, pretty damn good. Everything else... Meh. Service is hit or miss. Ive had fast and great service at times. At others its been excruciatingly slow even when they are very slow. Decent place, but no consistency. I wont avoid Grazie, but I also dont make a concerted effort to go there.

I like Grazie. They offer and do more than expected there. Food is good, service is good. I have eaten here three times and plan to visit mire iften. A little cramped for my taste, but I have been fortunate in my visits that patronage was minimal. Cozy place to have a flirtt date night.

I ordered prawns for dinner. They had a terrible moldy taste...yuck. Thought I would give them a second chance...dumb of me. Again, moldy taste. Abe, the owner came to our table. He said his prawns were fine and did not offer an apology. Grazie is no longer on my "go-to" list.

These guys do it well in every respect: healthy, quality food, delicious, low price! And you can get healthy kids plates too. Good wine & Lagunitas. One of our top five in all of Marin. If you havent been there Jan. 2012, you need to go -- renewed ownership!

Great little restaurant, friendly staff and service overall. Food was very good, had the Mezze appetizer and the Seafood pasta, both were full of flavour. Too stuffed for dessert but Id definately recommend and return again.
