Had a chance to play try the menu for a private event before the Grand opening. Food was great, we got a lbs of shrimp with special marinated sauce that had a bit of spice level to it. Was very full-on flavor and delicious. We also got a lbs of crab legs those with the more spicy sauce as well as corn on the cobb. Both the shrimp and the crab kegs where high if good flavor and taste. The staff was all very friendly and ready to help the people as they where arriving. There are many boots on the sides and smaller tables towards the center of the room as well as seating on the bar area, which at the time was not in service yet and no alcohol was been served. One small detail in would say as far as improvements would be to add stalls to the bathrooms so the toilets are not just left out exposed to everyone in the room. Would definitely like to come again once everything is fully opend and operational to the fullest

Love seeing new places show up in North Hollywood and I hope that this is a sign of more to come. Set in an unassuming strip mall, this is a fun space. It is minimally decorated as youre there for the food. You choose your seafood by the pound, chose your seasonings/spices and go to it. Straightforward and good. Had the pleasure of being waited on by Kami. She was very helpful, cheery and fun. She suggested going for the louisiana option (tossing in a potato, some sausage and corn) and it was fantastic. This place doesnt try too hard and thats a good thing. No need to dress it up. The food comes in a bag of your flavoring, you are offered a bib and gloves (I strongly suggest using both as I saw this couple covered in sauce and napkins) and you go to it. Its open from 3-10 so youll be able to find a table. Its only beer and wine right now so be prepared.

After our awful experience a few weeks back at kickin kasian in Northridge we decided to take our business elsewhere and we are soooo happy we did. The customer service was amazing. Our server was very attentive and made sure our party of 9 adults and 2 children were taken care of. The decor was very nice and spacious. The food was impeccable... and better then K.K.... this place is so full of flavor I couldnt help myself from wanting more. Our entire party was satisfied not like a few weeks back when KK wouldnt let us order more food and we ended up at an in n out drive thru. There was no need to order more food since the portions are a good size. We spent a pretty penny but it was well worth it. We just so happen to be celebrating 3 more birthdays this month and I think we might just drop by for more...

Ummmm yessss! My aunt and cousins took me here on one of my LA visits. The experience was pretty amazing. You will get down and dirty, so proudly where the bib. Ive been to hot and juicy and this doesnt even compare, boiling crab is where its at. The flavors inside your bag of whatever you order is downright beautiful. I ordered a lb of shrimp and I ate all of it, well after I peeled them. With that said, you will work for your food- peel and eat! There was so much food. You will never go home hungry. Hec you may not be hungry the next day. So the spices are so pungent here, my hands smelled like my meal for hours and I had to bag my clothes, since I was traveling. Dont even worry about the 45 min wait. Its worth it! Just bring extra clothes : The Drunken Crab is best.

Similar to Hot & Juicy, but the seasonings are different. I actually really like this place. We came to eat here Saturday night, and Im happy I did. There are plenty of TVs so you dont have to worry about missing a game (my only concern when eating out)... Food: Dungeness Crab w/ Medium Cajun Seasoning: It was pretty good, although I wish they were a little more meaty. Oysters: Nothing bad to say. We ordered a dozen raw oysters. Tasted fresh Shrimp w/ Cajun seasoning: No complaints. Whole shrimp. Eyes included. Overall this place is pretty cool. The floor manager, I think his name was Matt, was very friendly and our waiter Kostas did a great job as well. 5 out of 5 in the customer service dept. Keep it up

There was a bit of wait to get seated and when we did get seated our waiter was out of it he was more concerns on his tips then our order the food was ok but it took us a while to get some lemons we had to ask the busboy to get us some since our waiter was running up and down and making sure the bigger tables were be attended am assuming so he can get a good tip ...but the food was ok the calamari was a bit too soggy and the shrimps with the corn, sausage there a bit to salty for me but with the lemons it even it out the taste... they should get more waiters to help them out and to make sure that they attend to everyones needs not just the big tables...

We came here for a birthday luncheon and was pleasantly surprised with the restaurant. It was very clean and had a modern type design with a full bar. They had high rised tables that were shaped as barrels where you and 3 other friends can eat. They also have multiple TVs around the restaurants to watch sports if you want come to watch a football game while eating some Cajun food. We ordered the shrimp, mussels, sausage, and fish chips which were all delicious. The shrimp and mussels were all decent size. You can customize the level of spiciness depending on your taste. The service was great. The servers were very attentive to our needs.

Went there last night to eat, vacationing in Cali for a week. We were immediately seated....and that was it. No one came to our table for our drink order, nor did anyone ask if wed been served. We waited about 10min, a couple sat next to us and a waiter came and took their drink orders. Meanwhile...were still waiting. Yes, we could have asked the waiter or someone to serve us, but thats not how it goes. We waited about another 5min and no one came to our table, so we left. Upon leaving the same hostess who just seated us says "Have a nice night!". The food may have been good, but the staff and attentiveness definitely failed.

I checked this place out last week (Preview opening) when they werent open just yet and didnt have the bar area open. I liked the set up inside, very open, but still you feel relaxed and welcome. I was a bit overwhelmed because I dont crack open shells that well on my own just yet. But luck for me my table mates helped me out! I seriously might have starved! The shrimp was nicely cooked and well seasoned. The crab was tasty but scary to look at that closely. I have to check this place out again once they full open, including the bar area!

I agree with the previous reviews. But our server gal was great. Very very family friendly and I think it would be better to come here with a big group. They serve you a LOT of foods but it gets one demential if you have to eat one dish all by yourself. Come here with many friends and just share plates to taste! Great and clean atmosphere. I didnt enjoy watching a bloody extreme sports on TV while eating shrimps but others may enjoy it!
