Food is decent. The service not so much and it wasnt that busy. Placed our order and half the order came out then we waited about 20-25 minutes to get the rest. After we finished the server never came back over until he dropped the check saying "Were closing up". We were ready to leave a while ago. So I put my card in the book so he could take it. I waited about 5 minutes for someone that was in a rush to close, he never picked up the check. I then walked it up to him where he is counting his tip and closing registers. He seemed busy so I went back to the table with my party and awaited my card. We waited another 5 or 6 minutes just to get the card back just so we could leave.

The wait this Friday morning was crazzyyyy. We waited about 4 hours to get seats at the counter. There are only about 15 seats in the restaurant. The oysters and clams were delectable (15/14 for half a dozen) and the crab back was definately worth it at 6 bucks a pop. The clam chowder was soupy and thin, not my favorite type of chowder. The sashimi plate was definately not what I am accustomed to with olive oil and capers, but everything tasted fine. The men behind the counter were hilarious abd personable. All in all, not worth a 4 hour wait though. The food was awesome and I would definately come back for take out! It is cash only!!!

I ate here for lunch one day and the it was pretty good. My coworkers and I were able to call our order ahead and come in to pick it up. I got the House Cajun Garlic Noodles. I was worried it was spicy but it wasnt spicy at all. It was very flavorful and there was a good amount of seafood in the noodles. I also got a chance to try some fries which were good as well. It was seasoned well and tasty. I will definitely come back again to try some other dishes.

Informal atmosphere, fast service, good seafood choises. The staff member who served me (a young man) was very helpful in selecting a low carb meal and attentive throughout. The other staff member (a woman) ignored me despite having few customers. But my grilled salmon, zucchini and squash were delicious and cooked just right. Blueberry sparkling sake was interesting to try.

One of the few places you can dine at with 2 hour free validation for the parking structure next to it. My friend order the clams with 3 sake shots for $10, this sounded like a great idea at the time, but the sake shots + unlimited sangria from the restaurants prior really tipped us over! I was left throwing up my life for the next 5 hrs! Regardless it was a fun time!

Best soul food in Los Angeles!!!! I had the oxtails and rice I also got the fried pork chops for the sides I got the yams, Mac & cheese, and collard greens... the food was so good I had to stop eating and call them back up to compliment the chef .... I highly recommend this place if southern style cooking is what you are craving!!!!!

Great service and location but this place is lacking major on food quality. Chicken wings were bland and had no flavor, soft shell crab sandwich was slobbered with coleslaw overload and barely had any crab flavor whatsoever. Many more selections out in LA for Seafood and I cant find a reason to return back to Big Catch.

This is a pretty affordable place for good seafood. The King Crab Legs were delicious. They have a great special that comes with 6 oysters and a beer or wine for only $10. The service was great. I was a bit worried that they dont accept reservations, but we were actually seated right away.

We went for a special occasion. We had a great platter of foods. Shrimp, crab, Lobster, fried rice and my favourite Mojito made my day. Special thanks to Kevin who took care of us. He was very kind and patient. I could see him running around serving other customers very well.

Dined on a weekday and fantastic experience overall. Great service from the server who was a Frenchman and food was fresh and very well prepared from both a flavor and portion size standpoint. Beautiful looking dishes too, I may add. Absolutely returning!

We had a group of 7 people and about 5 of ud loved it. Some had concerns about frozen vs fresh seafood. Its a nice casual place to get a nice meal for a decent price. There is free parking in the parking garage right next to it. Anthony was awesome!

SO GOOD! Our waiter Daniel was amazing! Such a nice guy and SO on top of things. I hope his boss considers giving him a raise. Food was great and portions were absurd! My friend and I split a meal and were still so full! We will be back for sure!!

We were all surprised by this place. It seems rather basic with their set up but all the food was fresh and very high quality. The tacos were particularly good. We had a couple of each type and we liked them all.

Service is a bit too attentive. Flavors are bland. Beer choices are OK. Parking is good. Outdoor seating is nice when no traffic on Wilshire. Prices are high all things considered.

Cheap messy seafood served on a plate creates an experience fairly similar to Boiling crab but slightly nicer. Service wasnt the best, but the food makes up for most of it.

Delicious seafood restaurant with huge free parking and very good service. Make sure not to order peeled shrimps. Unpeeled shrimps are more succulent and bigger.

Amazing seafood. Way better tasting than the place similar to this in Westwood. You can taste the high quality for a fair price.
