Sometimes great things come in small sizes; this can be said about Natalie Peruvian Seafood Restaurant. Located off Hollywood Blvd but a safe distance away from the insanity thats associated with Hollywood, Natalies is a small mom and pop shop that serves up so tasty Peruvian style cuisine. First off PARKING in Hollywood is always a nightmare but luckily enough this place offers a modest amount of private lot parking that is shared with the neighboring Thai food place and 7-eleven. When my Mom and I first arrived the parking was all taken but we circled back around and found a spot. Theres also neighborhood parking that isnt permit only so if at first you dont succeed, try again The SERVICE was great! Our waitress was very courteous and got us water and complimentary bread promptly as we waited. The FOOD was pretty darn tasty if I may say. I ordered the Saltado De Pollo (chicken strips sauteed with onions, tomatoes, french fries and served with steamed rice) and my mom ordered the Arroz Chaufa Especial A La Natalie (fried rice "peruvian style" with shrimps, squids, octopus, mussels, chicken and beef). The chicken was a mix of white and dark meat (mostly dark) a bit dry but was well seasoned and packed with flavor. The fries were crispy and of course the sautéed onions and tomatoes were a treat. And despite the not having the "freshest" ingredients this Peruvian dish was executed well. My mom REALLY enjoyed her Chaufa, it was packed with all types of seafood and meat. I tried it and loved the rice preparation; it was extremely fluffy and had a full-body of flavor. The Chaufa is certainly a safe choice to ease you into the cuisine of Peru. Overall great experience and great price! For two meals we spent about $27 bucks. The proportions were generous so more than enough for leftover which tasted AMAZING the next day.

So, I came back here a 2nd time but not by choice... The service again was awful. I came here with a party of 6 and in the middle of taking our order, our waitress needed to ask the chef something, we thought to make sure they can make the meal someone asked for, but after she asked whatever she asked she went to the 2 party group she seated after used, took their order, placed their order with the kitchen then continued with our order. We arent sure why, no explanation was given, we were all ready to order when she began taking out order but ya... Then came an appetizer we order was then given to the wrong table. 30 seconds later, the people at the other table say that they didnt order it, but only after touching / examining it. The waitress gave it to us telling us that oh they didnt get a chance to but from a distance, the chef notices they did and tells her to bring the food back. Food was good, but. I have had better and for a lot less. Bill came out to $118ish with 6 entrees, 1 appentizer, two jugs of Chi Cha. I wont be coming back.

My wife and I were looking for a Peruvian restaurant near the keiser hospital. The service is exellent our waitress Marta recommended the " lomo saltado and the ceviche mixto" WOW what a flavor spicy, lemony, done just right $12 pero plate, honestly I would been glad to pay double that, Im not Peruvian, love seafood and this is by far one of the best seviches I have tried. The lomo saltado my wife tried was delicious. Not a fancy place but it has the right price, great food and service. Cant wait to been in the area again

Coming from miami where the south american food prevails, this place still has some way to go. Bistec a lo pobre was good and I can only assume that the lomo saltado would be just as good. The arroz con mariscos on the other hand, was not good at all. The rice had no flavor and it was spicy. The shrimp was shelled and it felt more like a failed attempt at a "mexican paella". I came here because it was supposed to be top 5 best peruvian food in LA. If this is true then LA has a pretty low standard for peruvian food.

There was bit hesitation to go this place because of its location. But the food was amazing. This was my first time to a Peruvian restaurant and I liked it. All items we ordered had different and unique taste. And the service was great too. They say it is sea food restaurant and they have great food, so chicken we ordered was good, but I didnt like it. The complement bread and sauce(aji) was excellent. Every time I go there I just love their food. It was fried fish fillet this time.

It is a very little place... Owners are obviously peruvian... The food is really really good... A lot of sea food options and they all look so good... They also have Inca kola, my favorite drink in peruvian restuarants! The only drawback is the location... I am not from LA... I am just visiting... But i really didnt like the area... I walked from the red line train station to the restaurant... I Felt a little weired! May be it is the best if u drive there!

The BEST tasting food. Fast. Great customer service. Shrimp fried rice has not only tons of shrimp but also generous chunks of delicious egg. Fried plantains are amazing and whatever green salsa they gave me with my takeout order was great also. Textures and flavors all on point, A1

By far my most favorite restaurant in Los Angeles,. Food literally melted in our mouths with every bite :) not sure where to begin but we had a wonderful experience with our election of wine, cocktails, entree and dessert . We met up with owner and were amazed with their passion for food.

I love Peruvian food. This restaurant is good but not amazing. We ordered three plates including the famous papas a la huancaina and as I mentioned, it was good but I had much better huancaina before. The place itself is clean and colorful which is a great sign for a restaurant.

This was my first time trying Peruvian food. We had the lomo saltado, parihuela, and tallarin verde con carne. The portions were good and everything was so delicious! We were satisfied with the service and price. Cant wait to go back to try other dishes!

Pros: - probably never a long wait like Marios. Good - good portions (easily enough for a meal + leftovers if you arent starving) - fast service - reasonable price Cons: - maybe a little on the salty/greasy side for some.

We didnt know what to expect, but it turned out to have really good Peruvian dishes. We had the Ceviche Mixto and Lomo Saltado, both were good and tasty. We will definitely be coming back to this hole in the wall.
