The Grinder has a very diverse menu and offers excellent value in a family restaurant setting. The portions are generous (we usually end up asking for "a box" as the portions are so large) and the quality of the cuisine is first-rate. We particularly like the breakfast menu items (waffles with strawberries, and a side of hash browns to die for). Im vegetarian, but my wife is not. No problem at The Grinder as they offer an excellent selection of vegetarian items. Weve tried many other restaurants in the "Greater LA area" but we always come back to The Grinder. :-)

Its probably Ok but I walked in this afternoon and waited for 10 minutes at the door. Nobody was at the counter the whole time. It was 1:00 in the afternoon and they didnt week too busy. As I casually waited for someone to acknowledge that I was there my thoughts were this; If this is how I am treated as a potential customer, what can I expect in terms of service once I am seated. This place may be good but I wont find out first hand anytime soon because Im likely to not go back there anytime soon.

Absolutely one of my Top 3 favorite bars in Los Angeles Ave, Moor park.The cheekily fritters and pimento cheeseburgers make my inner fat child want to do the truffle shuffle. The bartenders are excellent and I always have a great time. The door guys can be kind of douche but I get how difficult of a job it must be, especially when you are dealing with a**holes.Keep up the good work and I will keep throwing money at you guys.Cheers.

Time and time again, the Grinder hasnt lost its zeal and comfortable atmosphere that makes it so familiar and relaxing. The menu options are seemingly endless, yet it is recommended you try the delicatessen meats and cheese in their grilled sandwiches, such as the classic Reuben perhaps. I enjoy it greatly, and come often with friends for a calm evening of casual conversation. Do check it out when you can.

love this place! one of my favorite places to go for a family breakfast. clean and open. good food, Im picky and I can always find something I want! more then once Ive placed special orders of what I wanted, that wasnt on the menu, and they were friendly and quick to please. its never overly crowded like a lot of breakfast places can be and my glass is almost never empty! definitely reccomend!

I like the variety of food offered here. I saw someone wrote.. if you cant find something you like, then you are not hungry. I had the berry pie and loved it. The ribs were delicious. A great place to bring the family or a group to because they have a bar section that has lots re-arrangeable seating. While we were eating there, there was a 25 person feast going on.

Been coming here for years and love it! Extremely broad menu, we can always find something we want regardless of what were in the mood for. Quality is always great. Service can be a little slow during the breakfast and lunch rushes, so not the greatest choice if youre in a hurry, but worth the wait if youre not.

I was kind of expecting a Dennys style atmosphere, but was pleasantly surprised to find it very light, clean, friendly and open. Maybe because I was expecting a dreadful experience, but was very good overall. Ill be coming back.

Great food, Huge menu, Super variety. Been going there for years. The staff is great and the food has always been good no matter what cuisine youre taste buds are calling for. Highly recommended if youre in the Moorpark Ca. area.
