The Unagi was very good as a appetizer. ..for my entree...I ordered the Tempura Don which is tempura vegetables / tempura shrimp combination. With this meal is a small salad, miso soup ( bland tasteless and cold). The tempura was a dark brown as if they forgot to change the oil for awhile...very greasy...the shrimp was falling apart, so when I picked it up...the shrimp slid out by itself, and to my suprise it was a tiny little shrimp the size of the smallest salad shrimp I have ever seen! I asked the sushi chef , (he was very accommodating ) what kind of shrimp is this, its the tiniest shrimp I have every seen. He responded by going back in the kitchen and reorder the shrimp tempura in fresh oil... Well when he served it to me, I looked inside the large tempura shrimp and again it was 95% batter, and 5% baby salad shrimp. I told the sushi chef again, and he took it to the food manager sitting at the end of the bar....no response... Finally after some negotiations the chef took my tempura part of the meal off, since I didnt eat it. This is another restaurant cutting corners with their food quality to make money with low quality filler food. We wont go back!!

This used to be our go to sushi spot because of how cheap it was and the large variety but we just cant keep giving them chances. Every time we come in thinking they will redeem themselves its worse. Everything from uncleaned softshell crab filled with salt water that just gushes everwhere when bite into it to hair in our sushi rolls. Forgetting rolls on takeout orders, charging our card more than once or even simply forgetting we are sitting at a table. Its such a bummer because it used to be the best place to grab sushi in terms of bang for buck but not worth the risk anymore.

Hands down the worst sushi Ive ever had. The rolls are half price because they barely have anything in them. All you can taste is rice. And warm, overcooked rice it is, it was like eating luke-warm sushi rice pudding. Im sorry Robata (Carmel in The Barnyard) I went in because it was convenient -was going to a movie- and the half-price rolls gimmick. Ruined my night..was no way I could sit through a movie knowing that crap was in my stomach. Ive had better sushi that was three days old in a grocery store.

Prices are great. Military friendly. Able to get seats very quickly on a Friday night. Strange critique - the sushi rolls are too big. They literally fall apart from the weight. Thought the tempura was good. The staff couldnt say what kind of raw oysters were being served. If you dont know where the oysters come from, you probably should not be serving them. Just saying. The place is a bit chaotic. Had to ask multiple times for utensils, glasses, napkins, etc.

I sincerely adore this restaurant . The service has not only been above exceptional but also they have been friendly. The sushi is tasty and I am appreciative of the half off priced rolls. The appetizers I have tried have also been knock outs and the lunch bento box menu is delicious. I dont know about the bad reviews but all I can say is that in my opinion I love this place and I will happily return this restaurant. v/r Stop Hatin and start participating! :)

I went here for the first time yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. I assumed the 50% lunch rolls meant the quality wasnt as good but my friends and I really enjoyed the rolls we got and I can say they were good quality as well. It was pretty awesome to get all sorts of fun and fancy rolls ranging from $7-13 at half price. Im already planning my next visit!

Great place! I came in 20 min before closing and they were as pleasant and nice as if I was the 1st customer on opening day. The hostess was especially attentive and gracious. Nigiri was fresh and perfect. Had the B52 roll, Im no lover of sauces, but this was fantastic! Will be back again tomorrow for sure.

Very, very good sushi! Their specialty rolls are amazing! The Black Tiger and the Fuji Mountain are my favorites! Im not sure why there are such negative reviews about this place since Ive never been disappointed with ANY visit and Ive been coming here for over a year now!

This is where we go when we want "Sushi Plus". They have the most and the most creative rolls in town. The prices are reasonable and the service fast, reliable, and friendly. Have been many times and plan to go many more.

First off 50% off extremely overinflated crab rolls is ridiculous and its imitation crab at best Ive eaten a lot of sushi and Ive never seen prices like that and I never seen that many imitation crab rolls on the menu over

Ate dinner and had a couple drinks here with a friend and it was relatively busy. The menu offered a wide variety of main dishes, drinks, and appetizers. The staff were friendly and our waitress was very welcoming.

I love this place. My husband and I frequent here. Prices are great and while some foods are better than others they have some pretty great food. Pretty much every sushi roll Ive had here has been fantastic.

This place can get packed quickly. They offer good sushi and other items. The choose your own meals are my favorite, because you can try several items without committing to one thing for your entire meal.

The rice is nice and really a lot. The environment is clean too. But the service is not welcome enough. Also the shrimp is really not tasty. (in my opinion ) The sushi is okay by the way...

I sat at the bar; the sushi chef was friendly, and the sushi was good, I had the Highway one and Stripped Tiger roll. The only downside was the waitress wasnt too friendly.

Our meals were cold and service was not good, also it is over priced. Tables and chairs are not comfortable to sit and its medu hard to read and understand.
