The cashier (Amanda) shorted me on my change and when I told her after she counted back my $ which I had to ask her to she wanted to argue and said "thats what the computer says " I wanted to laugh I said are you serious . The computer is only as smart as the one putting in the information and dear your wrong simple math . When I should her she threw a tantum slammed open the back swinging door hit a servers tray and yelled. I asked for the manager (thomas) and I had to explain to him that it was wrong and he asked how I broke it down so the bill is 32.33 my friend gave her 12.00 then i gave her 100.33 so my change is 80.00 not 66 he then looked at what happened counted it back and gave me my change. If people are going to work with people and money then they need to have basic math and customer service skills .

Dewz is a landmark in Modesto! It has the ambiance of a big city restaurant, but warm, personal service. A Cheese menu is presented first for appetizers. Then the entree menu is passed out. Daily specials, and a variety of stable menu items are available. The bar is terrific, as is the wine list. Scott, the owner, is a great.

Amazing friendly staff, the food was great service was over the top and the managers enaged with me on multiple occasions. My kids and husband really enjoyed our dinner date despite the line to the door they waited patiently and it was well worth it. Hands down will continue to come here instead of the the one in Turlock

Service was very good. The food was horrible. Got my son chicken tenders came out under cooked. I got the Philly chesse steak. Meat also looked under cooked and a lot of fat in it. Yellow substance in it. Which Im guessing was at some point chesse. Mashed potatoes were dry and gross. Never going back to this place.

The hallway is sooooo packed and it took the staff about 20-30 minutes just to seat our 6 person family while we stood in the crowded hallway waiting to be seated by the high school aged staff behind the counter. Good food but they definitely need to make some improvements to their customer service and building.

The service was alright, she let all 4 of our drinks go empty and we had to ask another person for them. Maybe a bad night for her. I was give a 3.5 honestly because the food in the buffet is not always the best. Love the cheese toast and the food when its fresh.

Clean with a great selection. I chose the salad bar and its really good. Wide selection of fresh items and crisp lettuce. Plus you get a little appetizer section so it becomes a full meal. In the end you cant go wrong here.

Great quiet atmosphere salad bar was kept clean and presentation was continuously fully stocked. Signature salad bar salads were incredibly delicious along with the soups which were kept full and desirable to have.

One of my favorite places.. The service is good...and so is tbe food. I think they work hard to make a nice experience for their guests. The salad.bar is always clean and well stocked. I akways enjoy dining here
