Dewz is by far the best restaraunt in the Central Valley. I have eaten there many times, and the food and service has never been anything short of impecable! Both the Roasted Artichoke and Calamari appetizers are among my favorites. They prepare the Ceasar Salad tableside, which is a nice touch. As for entrees, the Blue Cheese Crusted NY Steak and any of the have it prepared your way fish are amazing. Also, the cocktails exceptional. You definitely get what you pay for: delicious, original food and exceptional service. I have read some reviews complaining about the time it takes from the time the food is ordered until it is delivered....this is an upscale eatery, food is made to order, and quality takes time people! Plus, when I splurge on going to a nice dinner I like to make a night of it....I expect and like the fact that things are not rushed. Bottom line-If you appreciate great food, service, and ambience, Dewz is the place for you!

The first time I went to Dewz was for lunch. It wasnt bad, it was pretty good. Then I went with my wife ate here in 07 on our anniversary and it was pretty bad, dismal at best. I had a bleu cheese steak and I ordered it rare. And it came out well. WELL well. It was also one of the toughest pieces of red meat Ive had in a long, long time. Certainly, the best part of this meal was the cheese course. But how can you go wrong with a cheese platter when all you have to do is cut pieces of cheese and lay them out on a plate? It was so bad, my wife and I decided never to go back. Definitely go to Vitos instead. Better quality with better prices. Dewz is all style (early 90s, I might add) and no substance. The menu reads as if it were a nice restaurant, but everything is cooked all wrong. The decor also reminds me of 1988 rather than 2008. Steer clear of this one.

One will no doubt respond to this review with a "you asked for it". So Ill humbly mention what Ive experienced in other restaurants when you are subjected to a considerable delay in being seated....well after your reservation time. We went on New Years Eve (12/31/09) with a group of eight! Im somewhat understanding when a restaurant cant accommodate a group of this size in a timely fashion. But an hour wait tends to trump the anticipated enjoyment of a restaurant that has one of the better ratings on cuisine. The food was good and so was the service....but getting to the table was the problem. And once we got there, it was definitely not worth the $100+ per person (we brought our own wine). Other establishments have been know to give a credit or offer an additional dish in some manner. But this place chose to simply give us excuses. They wont see us again.

Went to Dewz last night for dinner to celebrate my year of living, from almost dying last June ... Was there with my Son Jon and Our friend Ricky. We had a fabulous dinner. New Year steak was so tender. Salome was just as fabulous as the steak from what we were told from Ricky. We were treated to a few special tid-bits from Scott, He was very kind and attentive to our needs and wants. As-well as Our server Amber. The only draw back to our night at Dewz was that we were sat in the back right next to the Kitchen entrance, it was very loud and my chair kept getting bumped into by the other staff and servers. our table felt like we were in the middle of grand central station. However, that wont keep us from going back. Food was amazing. An so was Amber & Scott. I will just make sure to let them know I do NOT want a table near the kitchen again.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! I got severe food poisoning from their food on 1/10/14. I ordered the fettuccine lobster shrimp dish! It was so bad I had to go to the ER. and had to be put on medication asap. To top it off when i called to give then a heads up, they called me a liar. The manager rudely tried to convince me that i "must have gotten it somewhere else" in a tone like, (theyre to nice of a restaurant for something like that to ever happen there). It was the rude! Then i informed her i hadnt ate anything else that day so its not possible. Then she told me, "deal with it", and hung up on me. I talked to two different people that were "in charge", one being the manager. They were so disrespectful i was blown away. I will NEVER go there again, no one should ever be treated like that. its unacceptable :(

A "Must Go!" for special occasions. A co-worker recommended that my wife and I have our anniversary dinner here. I am glad we did! The service was wonderful! We were taken care of and in good hands. The calamari appetizer was tender and not overcooked like many restaurants tend to do. For dinner I ordered the filet mignon...excellent cut of meat cooked just the way I like it! My wife had the lamb which was a tad overcooked on the outside but perfect as she got closer to the bone. (The reason for 4 stars rather than 5.) Last but not least, I had the creme brulee for dessert...superb! I wish I could order it to go! Also, since it was our anniversary, they took our picture and gave us a complimentary bottle of wine (from Chile) which was actually pretty good!

Very good food, and even better service. On a recent trip, the steak we ordered was a bit over done. Still tasty, we still ate it, but when the waiter asked, we said it was a little over done. The waiter went out of his way to make things right! We said it was OK, but the staff insisted to make it right, even offering us a bottle of wine to take home. The food in general is very good. They have a bar, and a delightful staff that is all smiles. (Compare to Gallettos, down the street, where they genuinely hate their customers). The pricing is the only miss at Dewz. Granted its not a cheap eatery, but the prices are a bit steep for the dishes. Altogether, though, an excellent place to eat.

We have been visiting Dewz since 1998. I used to take clients from out of town there for lunch. The food and service have always been impressive. Scott and Judi are wonderful. We have eaten there for dinner, anniversary and did our employee lunches there. The food is very good and the service is excellent. I have had the Chilean sea bass, several cuts of steak, shrimp and the oyster appetizers. The Caesar salad made at your table is a highlight, as is the flaming dessert and of course I loved the prime rib. My only complaint is that we now live in Texas and there is nothing like Dewz here. Thank you Scott and Judi for 14 wonderful years of food and fellowship!!. The Young Family

Sorry no pictures today, but the food was great. My husband had never been here before. We biked here and there was nearby bike parking. The outdoor dining was not available, but it was nice with the air conditioning. We started with the fromage plate (cheese) which came with a wine tasting. We had the house cabernet and chardonney. Both Gallo brands and actually quite good. We both ordered beer. I enjoyed half of my citrus chicken and my husband ate all of his blue cheese crusted New York Steak. He said maybe its the two beers, but he loved it. We brought home the fettuccine prawn dish for our son who rated it great, even eating the vegetables. Well be back.
