I had never gone before, but decided to give it a shot. I was highly disappointed. The staff, although nice enough, looked absolutely miserable, and the other customers were obnoxious (kids running around their ignoring parents, patrons huffing about the food "not being spicy enough, etc.). So already I was uncomfortable here. The food was awful, with a gluey-cement textured biscuit, sub-par popcorn shrimp (Ive microwaved better shrimp), and fish fillets with the gritty texture and flat taste of a bunch of gutted fish sticks mushed together and deep fried. It tasted awful and made me sick for at least two days after (probably all the salt. If Im going to eat that much salt, I want to enjoy myself). Do yourself a favor and get shrimp and fish fillets from the supermarket in the same parking lot. Itll be cheaper and taste a lot better. The only reason they get 2 stars instead of 1 is because the rude customers around me werent really their fault. Still, it shows you what kind of people are attracted to this kind of food...

this is the 5th time Ive come to this location and the 3rd issues Ive had to deal with. 1st time, my wife and I ordered our food and after we listened to the employees curse about how annoyed they are with customers then the order was screwed up so we had to go back to correct the order. The 2nd time the store at 6pm they had to chicken strips or nuggets to serve to customers while still minimizing the orders that we did purchase. Today 02/11/2017 I ordered a 5 pc of strips only to find 3/5 strips undercooked 10 mins away from my house that was meant for my son. UNDERCOOKED CHICKEN IS WHAT HAS BEEN SERVED

The management here is pathetic. Many of the times I go there theyre out of supplies and now their equipment has been non-functional for a week or so. What are these guys learn their business practice in India? Pakistan? They dont sure we dont run it like I remember Western businesses being run. Employees look miserable the place is out of supplies and you cant use a credit card and this has lasted for a while

The Popeyes chain is good, this location is not. 3 trips, all 3 times theyve been out of what I wanted. They parked me to wait and "someone will bring it out shortly". ALL 3 TIMES I was forgotten and had to go in and ask for my order. ALL 3 TIMES when I went in looking for my order, tghe one who took my order came to the counter and asked what I would like to order. I hate this place. They need new employees.

The reviews on here do not give this place proper justice. I wasnt expecting much based off what people were saying, but I tell you this restaurant is just as good as any other Popeyes. The chicken tenders were perfectly cooked and had a good ratio of breading and chicken. I even got an extra tender in my meal! So dont judge it until you try it!

My experience at the Manteca , CA. location "SUCKED" as usual . Ive been in this Popeyes approximately 7 or 8 times , and NO MATTER what I order its a 20 minute wait , and after tonight I will NEVER set foot in a Popeyes restaurant again because I just checked my order after waiting 25 minutes for it and yes .... It was screwed up. Back to KFC

Made a Friday tradition to come here and get dinner for the kiddos. They love the fries and crunchy chicken. The restaurant itself is kept clean and tidy. The workers are very nice. I came here with my son who wasnt feeling well and they took the time to ask how he was doing. Way to go PopeyeS, you have a patron for life.

I love their spicy chicken tenders, but they have been "all out of tenders" on multiple occasions. A few times is understandable but a chicken place that is constantly out of chicken reflects poor management. Good food but beware you risk a wasted trip of you seek their chicken tenders.

Highly disappointed in this specific location. Ive gone multiple times, and on almost every occasion they are out of ranch and spicy chicken, wouldnt mind waiting for the spicy chicken to be cooked but they dont offer that, they only give me the "theyre out of it" excuse.

I was never a Popeyes guy but now that Ive tried it, I like it. Seen a little expensive for fast food but it taste soooo good. The staff here was really nice too. I had to wait a few minutes for something and they were very nice about it. Thank you.

There sides for the family meal is ridiculously small,,, and are advertised as a large. Also , they have gotten my order wrong, if it was for my husband I wouldnt even bother. Its a waste of money, tasted good but wasnt filling .

Way too much fried breading on a dried out tiny piece of meat. I tried loving this place so many times and I have never walked in and back out of any restaurant more than this one. Might be the grease smell when I walk in=appetite gone.

Cant do multi orders via drive through. The people were not very cordial and the service was slow. Also on numerous occasions it has been cash only. You never know until you get there.

Standard Popeyes food but the wait times here are not ideal. Whether empty or busy there always seems to be a long wait. Definitely a cleaner store than some though.

Very slow today, soda machine out of ice and most flavors second time in a row there has been a homeless person sleepung at one of the tables. Wont be back
