This is by far the worst place I have ever been to. Some business associates and myself went for dinner. We did show up a little later and close to close. But there is no excuse for the horrible service and rudeness of the staff. First the staff was horrible, staring and talking. I do not know their language but I am sure by the tone and the stares that it was about us. Even at the end they became persistent about closing and to get more food if we wanted it. Problem was the buffet even when arriving for dinner was empty and cold, not to mention dry and old. We were not the only people in the place. There were at least 4 other groups in the restaurant. Most also complaining as we could hear them at our table of 5. Secondly, the food was horrible. Probably due to the horrible staff and the fact that it had been on the buffet for hours. The crab legs were cooked so long the meat was impossible to get out of most of the crab legs. 99% of the buffet was empty. Third, after barely enjoying our dinner with the staff harassment, they turn the lights off on us while eating. Not only is this illegal but a serious hazard for customers leaving the BUSINESS! Upon asking why we were told they have no control over the lights and that they are closing as they have been saying since before their posted time of closing. This place is horrible, the staff is rude and very inconsiderate of the fact the customer is who keeps them open. DO NOT GO HERE, THERE ARE MANY RESTAURANTS ON HOLLYWOOD BLVD THAT WILL APPRECIATE YOUR PATRONAGE.

Driving to Hollywood from anywhere on a hot Friday afternoon (7/22) for lunch is a challenge. Traffic, tourist buses and scarce parking. Having tried Vegas Buffet in Glendale and Torrance several times for years, I decide to take my wife for an adventure at Vegas Buffet in Hollywood. I stepped in to an almost empty restaurant at 1p.m. and was ushered in by a young lady who turned out later to be Filipino. After having been led to a table near the food and kitchen area, I told the lady I have asthma and wanted a window table instead. She curtly said they were all reserved. To avoid a stressful situation, we just turned around to leave. She then leads us to the "reserved" table and managed to tell me I was "bastos" (a Filipino word for something worst than rude). I stopped my wife from what she was about to say and just left. We are in our 60s and deserve better elsewhere. Any restaurant would simply be gracious to diners table preferences especially for medical reasons and on a slow day. It is likewise unimaginable to lie about reserved tables when obviously they are not. However, this Filipino employee obviously looked down on us for being Filipinos totally disregarding etiquette, common sense and customer satisfaction. The least a restaurant front-line could do to hungry, hot and tired customers is to welcome them.

The only reason i went was for the roast lamb, i called ahead to make sure it was on the menu and ready, i was told yes, when we got there 12.30 the lamb had only just gone in the oven at 12pm, i was furious, that was the main reason i came,. This was the SECOND time this has happened, the first time the manager managed to get me two slices from the ends with resistance from the guy that was watching over like it was gold, (leftovers for his lunch perhaps), the Brazilian meats are a joke, a beef a sausage and thats it oh yeah and the lamb when it came out at 1,30 i had to beg them to take it out before it was cooked to a crisp and give me a few slices., very rude employees. otherwise its just like King seafood buffet but more expensive., dont get me satarted on the "Lobster" awful bits of lobster meats in a grey shell covered in the same sauce as most otther items, couldnt taste lobster and it looked awful,. Nothing special,

The hostess is Sensational and friendly. The serving staff does a good job of keeping the food in stock. The waiting staff was quick to take the used plates away, and refilled the beverages. The atmosphere is inviting, somewhat cozy, and spacious. Quality of the food, bearly meets Consumers expectations. Why? This is a Seafood Buffet, yet there are not many options from the deep sea. I was Stationed in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, where a seafood buffet had every kind of food from the deep Blue Ocean that one can imagine. Granted Hollywood is not surrounded by the ocean. However, the Pacific is very close. Furthermore, most of the food was cold, under cooked. The large shrimp was not devained, many other edible items were sub-par as well. New management would make this a great place to dine. As it is now, the Vegas Seafood Buffet is way over priced.

Stay away! I wish there was a way to give no stars. I arrived at 1p on a Friday and the huge place was filled with maybe 5 tables. I thought something might be up with this place but the unfriendly hostess seated me so I decided to stay. The food was all cold. All of it. None of the hot food was even luke warm. I take very small portions of food at a buffet so I can taste what I think I like and go back for what I do like. I did not go back for any of the bland tasteless food. I ate very little and hoped I did not get food poisoning. When leaving the waitress could not figure out the change. I told the hostess the food was cold. She did not say anything and continued going through her paperwork. She must have known how awful the food was and did not want to acknowledge it. Stay away. A waste of $14.15.

horrible, just plain horrible. My family and I went there to enjoy a meal, late one night after such a busy day. I had a bad feeling about the resturaunt, but I got over it after we starting eating and I saw my children didnt have a problem with the food. It was all good until the end when I ordered a refill for my 1 yr old son, to go. I forgot to order a to-go cup for myself, so I used my sons, I poured the drink out into another cup and when I used my finger to clean out anything inside of it...I found a hack of spit in the cup that went all over my fingers and the table. I was so disgusted beacuse my son, actually took a sip from the cup. Yet they did not give me anything in return for that disgusting act.
