My first time going here as a kid when the drinks came with the meal and a bit cheaper now you have to buy the drink itself man how the economy is now such greedy pricks. The food is alright Id rather eat homemade meals because some of the selections here need to be cooked properly or atleast hire people that know how to make food not preheated food from the near by Albertsons market.And the place itself needs more cleaning up to do specially right after a customer leaves the place they burly clean up properly which makes the place look bad specially the floor when you walk towards the soda section is to damn sticky at times. The restroom is worst people dont clean up after themselves like literally?? other peoppe have to use the restroom to and it isnt your house. An employ should check up on that at times cuz its effin gross.

I do like some of the dishes they offer. The meatloaf, carved meats, potatoes, and grilled chicken are great. Some not so great things are the booths and restaurant maintenance. The booth seats have a lamp that comes down way to close to your face. I guess it was meant for the over all decor of the place but it really isnt the most practical arrangement. Being average height and sitting in a normal position will have you eating with a lamp in your face, struggling to see the person across from you. As for the maintenance, it can improve. The restroom stalls need fixing and sometimes the soda fountain is off. All of that said, Ive come here plenty of times and have still enjoyed myself.

I would have gave it 4 stars but the girl in the front took forever with the family infront us. I heard that they had changed their system and that made it a bit acceptable cus ive gone through that, however what got me to give three stars was the fact that after finishing helping the fam infront of us, she then helped an employee then another girl who wanted to be charged for a cup and theeeen us. This buffet however have way more variety than the one located on Covina so i guess that helped my rating.

This place is not that bad. Although, I wouldnt come back a second time. I was expecting a clean environment and great food. Which, very quickly, my expectations were denied. This place smells, like something rancid, and is not tolerable at all. The food isnt good, which arent even appealing to the eye. The service (the only thing being great) is wonderful. Theyre very attentive and willing to meet your dining standards. But once again, I will not be dining here a second time.

How is this not taken-alt
The diningexperience was just far below than what you can expect. I dont find service to be an issue. The food feels like it has poor texture which discouraged me from getting a variety of food which wouldve been great if effort was put into the food. The hot drinks, Hot Chocolate and such, was basically boiled water scented as the drink. I would recommend not eating here as you can get more with your money at a different buffet/restaurant/etc.

So I arrived at around 11:15 am expecting to get some good food but I got the complete opposite it looked like food cooked yesterday the pizza was horrible and I found residue on my utensils I found that very disgusting I didnt even finish my food I was only their for about 20 min I had to leave i will never go back their again its a waste of money I wouldnt suggest anyone going their to eat if you want a buffet golden corral is the way to go

This place is in dire need of new plates... you can see all the scratch marks embedded with discolored residue. It is a bit unappetizing. My daughter loves coming here so we gave it another shot. My husband and I ended up with achy, bloated bellies. Watch what you eat... stay away from the fish. I dont think the staff keep an eye on the more prone to go bad items as they should.

Food was lousy, stations were not very clean and they constantly ran out of cups, plates and silverware throughout dinner service. Seating is very crowded and compact so be ready to weave between tables and have people bump into you while you eat, wait time for parties larger than 4 people is also pretty bad.

I love dining here because there is always a wide selection. Employees are very attentive and happy when they come around to clean your table! Always be sure to carry cash, these hardworking and jolly busboys definitely deserve a good tip for their hard work! They genuinely seem happy to have you around!

The dining was horrid. The food was either tolerable or was horrible. The service wasnt much of a concern. The food would either be drowned in spices or would be bland and have an unappetizing texture which made me really picky with the food. I honestly dont recommend coming to this Hometown Buffet.

Maybe because we went on a sunday but the line was ridiculous long. We felt so rushed with so many people once seated. Pizza and desserts were taken quickly and people waited for them. Only good experience was our waiter, an older gentleman that was a fast friendly worker. He needs a raise.

The service was really poor. My son asked for ketchup and never did get the ketchup. The food was cold, salty, and dry. The utensils were very dirty. We waited 20 minutes just to get a cup for our drinks. Most of the food tray were empty. I drove so far just to get bad service.

First time i tried it. I wont come here ever. Had to wait 30mins to get a drink. No food selection!! I have beans at the house. I wont recommend this place to anyone. Go to the international buffet which is a block from there. There they do have a big selection of food.

Im here now and decided to give a review. Lunch price was great only 7.99 however im pretty sure that plates, cups, etc could be cleaner. When it comes to food its 2/5 and there is a mess in the beverage area. They should serve more fruits as well.

Pretty decent. It isnt too expensive but it isnt cheap either. Variety is alright but it definitely could improve. Theres nothing much to write about. Only real complaint is how filthy and neglected the restrooms are. Lost my appetite when I went.

This is the best hometown buffet ever compare to City of Industry. I love their pizza, cinnamon rolls, roasted ham, steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, and yams. their carrot cake and ice cream with chocolate fudge is the best desserts ever.

This Rice a Roni, shake and bake establishment is only suitable for a family of five with an extremely terrible cook for a mother... needed a steak knife to eat my rice... service is great, little dirty too... if only I could find FOOD!!!
