Ive only been here for Lunch, so dont let this be the be-all... It was my third time at this particular Buffet. This is one of two go-to spots if Im feeling in a mood for some Chinese Buffet. So, its basically like most buffets...they have 4 kinds of soup, all kinds of hot entrees, sushi, Ice Cream section, Dessert section, Fruits/Veggie section, Flame Grill for BBQ meats, and Mongolian Grill. Normally I stay away from Sushi (other than Ebi) at Chinese Buffets, because the fish they use smells really strong. Im guessing since its a buffet, they dont have the highest quality supplier. Why the Ebi? Well, you cant mess up already cooked shrimp...thats why. Heres what I suggest you try... Flame Grill BBQ and the Mongolian Grill! Dont forget to tip! A dollar would suffice on each trip. I am shocked at how many people dont even tip...trust me, the meats and the Mongolian BBQ they have IS definitely worth tipping. They have Steak, Marinated Pork Chops, Marinated Pork Belly and Shrimp! For the Mongolian, its usual stuff like Brisket, Chicken, and Shrimp with a bunch of veggies and noodle. Other than that, the only thing that stands out about this place is the interior decoration. If you look at the ceiling and just stare at it for a good minute...it seriously looks like the inside of a North Korean executive palace (go watch Documentaries on Netflix about North Korea). Whats up with that? After youre done with your meal, you can head on over to the Ice Cream section. This is where you should be careful. Last time I went, there was a Woman who somehow convinced me to get a stack-load of ice cream scoop. I went there just for a scoop or two and ended up with a mountain pile of ice cream...They have a variety of flavors, is what Im trying to tell you. Now granted, its not Baskin Robbins quality but what do you expect for paying 12 bucks? Its a steal!

This place has gone way downhill. They recently renovated, and the place looks just as gaudy but slightly differently arranged. Basically they eliminated the separate sushi bar and expanded seating. So they closed for a few weeks to make it look worse. There are only a few things that will attract you to a cheap Chinese buffet. Cheap but decent sushi, fresh hot crab legs, and freshly cooked meat. The sushi has gone way downhill, and it wasnt that great to start with. It was passable for how little you were paying, but now, Id rather go out to the valley and pay a little more for a decent sushi buffet. They still serve crab legs here, but now its COLD crab legs. Im not sure why they went from freshly cooked steamed crab legs to ice cold crab legs, but the difference is significant. Theyre basically inedible. The one (partial) saving grace of this buffet is the grill. They still grill fresh meats for you at this buffet. However, to be honest, for the price ($19.95 for dinner on the weekend), youd be far better off going to one of the many great Korean BBQ joints just a quarter mile away in KTown. The cuts of beef are fatty and exhibit minimal marbling. Youre not going to get USDA Prime beef here. Its cheap meat usually overcooked, but seasoned well enough to be edible. Staff is friendly, and naturally apologetic throughout the experience. They know the place is a #@!%hole. Friendly waitstaff was the one reason I rated this place 3 stars. I wont be returning.

Excelente!! Cuesta aprox.

WHAT DID I GET: I pretty much tried almost everything, but my favorites were the stuff from the grill (shrimp and beef noodles with onions and mushrooms and peppers), the sushi and the mussels with marinara sauce. Banana nut ice cream and cotton candy ice cream for dessert. HOW WAS IT: Compared to other Chinese buffets Ive been to, this one is better than most. The food was pretty solid - not mind-blowingly original or anything, but definitely satisfying. HOW MUCH DID IT COST: With tip, it was a little under $50, but I went with someone else. For dinner, it was $18 per person, and the drinks were like a dollar something or whatever. So if you went by yourself, it would cost probably around $25 including tip. WOULD I GO BACK/RECOMMEND THIS PLACE: Yes and yes. The food is rotated out pretty frequently, the variety of food is pretty fair, the servers are friendly and the place is pretty clean. And really, everything tasted pretty good.

Been called a liar and thief because their out of date credit card machine doesnt work its extremely embarrassing. I tried to explain that my card was working that I was from England and it wont work in a old machine. The guy wouldnt listen to me threatened me with the police called me a liar and insisted that his machine worked. He demanded my passport took a photo of me and my driving licence. I found a cash machine and paid them their $19. However the guy who threatened me disappeared and I was told he went home. I wanted him to apologies because of how he spoke to me telling me people like me do this all the time. People like me? Black people? I was willing to leave my £600 phone my professional camera but that wasnt good enough he humiliated me spoke down to me and refuse to apologise!!!

"Eh", sums up my overall experience. The food is okay warm, but as soon as its cold its really just not good. The staff is pretty attentive, which helped overall. The BBQ stations were more entertaining to watch than they were good to eat at, though I can say that the short ribs were good. The desserts were a little sad. Very dry and left much to be desired. The soft-serve ice cream was more satisfying, but if you manage to screw that up you shouldnt have a machine in the first place. The flavors were kinda weird, though. Birthday cake batter and pistachio mix? No, thanks. Ill be enjoying this flavorless "vanilla" with my rainbow sprinkles. As always with buffets, you dont have to look hard for better.
