Izzys used to be a nice restaurant but it isnt anymore. It has steadily went downhill in quality especially with its servers and with closing stores it is obvious as to why. On our last visit our server was not very understandable. While busing dishes she refilled my glass of water by taking it away with her dirty hands and filling 3/4 full then returning It lugging a bus tub around. It was gross. The food was of poor quality and many items were mostly empty it was a Sunday @ 2:00pm with few people in the place. I was e-mailed a coupon but when I tried to use it some guy named Max gave me a really bad time to the point I was miserable and just wanted out of there. The bathrooms are beyond gross and feel sticky on your feet, small bad, were without paper towels, or soap. Flies were buzzing around the salad bar not far from the bathrooms. After a decade of patronage we wont be going back unless some things change back to what they were. Guessing its how they are staffing this place the last couple of years. Newport also has rude service you cant understand. Just not the same stores they used to be.

Went here for a family dinner. It was, unfortunately poor at best. Izzys has an odd set up. Choices are Pizza, or salad, or buffet, or grill, or several combinations that include variations of all. The cost depends on what you select food from. So......we had a little of this and that and the cost was like $14 per person or so, including a drink, which is extra too. The grill: 3 choices were salmon, meatloaf bites, and ribs. The meatloaf was rock hard at the edges and the meat looked like turkey meat. The salmon and ribs were just "okay." The buffet: was out of 1/3 of the food. What was left was fried chicken, mac and cheese, green beans and mash potatoes and gravy. The pizza: was okay and the salad bar was standard. So a person getting meatloaf, mash potatoes and gravy and some salad and a soda, paid $14 AND it tasted bad. The only good thing was the nice waitress....she even looked remorse at the way the food was. Izzys used to be good but not anymore. For the cost we could have gone to almost any other place and had a good dining experience.

We go here with friend on a regular basis and we love the place. Staff is very friendly and considerate. Since two of have service dogs they always seat us in an area with extra space. Salad bar is well stocked with healthy food. Really like the fresh fruit, but would be nice if the added a few choices of local fresh fruit as it comes in season. Love being able to special order steak and salmon from the grill. I hate losing the salmon or fish option for BBQ riblets. I think offering BBQ riblets on grill is duplication. They already offer great riblets on the hot bar. I understand the weekend lunch buffet is supposed to be pretty good as well, but we havent had a chance to try it yet.

This was my favorite place to eat when I was young. I moved and came to visit Corvallis for the first time in 14 years and the food is just as I remember. It is a little pricy for brunch and dinner. $14 plus $2.50 for a drink for adults but I love the hot food and salad bar. Sunday brunch was great. They had bacon, eggs chicken and more. They now have TVs around the dining areas to watch games. Desert bar could be bigger, but we like the frozen yogurt and toppings. Dont plan on coming unless you plan on eating $14 worth of food for dinner.

I have written Izzys on three different occasions describing how bad this restaurant is. They have given me 2 free meals, I dont want to ever go back to this Corvallis location until I see a sign that says new owners. This is the only buffet that has no one checking to see if the food trays have anything to eat, you may have to fight someone for a piece of food. I have been there when they had no pizza or chicken out to eat, and you have to wait 20 minutes for them to cook some more. My advice DONT waste your time!!!!

I will never go back to this izzys. Not only did the food suck but they only had 2 employees working. There was 5 tables and not one was cleared. Or asked if anyone needed refills. When I complained to the manager that happened to be the owner, I was told if I didnt like the service dont come back. I called the corporate office for izzys and didnt get a call back. Dont waste your money at this izzys. There certainly is. No such thing as customer service at this location.

Next time youre in the Corvallis Izzys, check out the inside of the mens room bathroom stall doors. Not been cleaned since they were installed. And good luck with the industrial strength toilet paper with no perforations. Id suggest you take in a handful of lettuce cause youll have better luck with that. $2.49 for a soda which isnt included in the buffet price.

The salad bar is great good selection and very fresh! The Canadian bacon and pineapple pizza was very good. I enjoyed the chicken selections and fried potatoes. Service was good for the most part but we had to refill our drinks while others did not. It was clean throughout even the restrooms. Plenty of seating, view of the street and the aroma of good vittles.

The manager in charge today needs to be fired. For her to talk to the customers and calling them a liar is not ok! We drove almost 40 miles to bring my daughter here to as just for us to not eat. Food was horrible, her waitress was doing all the work and was very helpful and apologetic for the managers behavior. Never again will we come here!

Izzys used to be a great place 2 eat and now sucks! It used to be great value when the grill was included, now theyve dropped the prices by a buck and now charge outrageous prices for the grill. Sizzler in Albany or sharis in Corvallis have better food for the price.

The salad bar is always great, I love how you can request pizzas and they will make sure you know when theyre ready. However, dont get the "made to order", "grilled" fish tacos... fish had the consistency of mashed potatoes. Everything else was great though!

Food was very lousy, under cooked chicken and pizza. Limited choices. Ice cream machine is NOT ice cream, appears to be ice milk. Way over priced. They need to get a cook that knows pizza crust is supposed to be brown not completely white. I wont return!

I loved it when I was here with my buddy in October/November 2014, yes, a long time ago... I went to another Izzys in Newport in May 2016 with my friends and I thought the one in Corvallis was much better. Would like to try again if Im in town.

Decent food and wait staff. Being a family restaurant, expect raucous children running around. The grill master is exceptional, and friendly. Wait staff took a long time finding a gluten-free menu, but found one eventually.

I have eaten at several Izzys and this was probably the worst. The food clearly had been cooked hours earlier and left to sit under warmers for too long. I tried the riblets and they were as hard as a rock.
