Called a day ahead to have my daughters birthday party about 20 people. They said no problem....ok well its easy of course to get ur food which was pretty cool. It took 48 minutes for them to get us all drinks...48 freakin minutes. I mean the kids were playing musical drinks because at a couple tables there was a drink . We basicly had to get up and do it ourself , u can only say it so many times you know we kept saying it over and over again we need our drinks. I would never get the straws I asked for 20 times. They were busy I get that Chinese New Year blah blah blah however they knew it was going to be busy night and they were NOT prepared. I would not suggest having a party of any kind there. If your just eating dinner well its great. When my husband went up to pay our $300 bill he told him of his disappointment about our drinks the gentleman repaid "well some people had to wait outside for four hours" Really? But again not my problem they need to take a course in customer service and maybe one how go deal with a full house. Ok ok ill stop.

Stay away from the sushi! Scombrotoxic fish poisoning also known as scombroid or histamine fish poisoning, is caused by bacterial spoilage of certain finfish such as tuna, mackerel, bonito, and, other fish. As bacteria break down fish proteins, byproducts such as histamine and other substances that block histamine breakdown build up in fish. Eating spoiled fish that have high levels of these histamines can cause in human disease. Symptoms begin within 2 minutes to 2 hours after eating the fish. The most common symptoms are rash, diarrhea, flushing, sweating, headache, and vomiting. Burning or swelling of the mouth, abdominal pain, or a metallic taste may also occur. The majority of patients have mild symptoms that resolve within a few hours. Treatment is generally unnecessary.

other reviewers must have had a really bad day or expect a $60 meal for 7.98(the cost of lunch) or 11.98(supper). We are fussy eaters who eat asian and every other kind of food worldwide and we love this place and go back often. In fact only the most expensive buffets in Vegas can surpass it. The Chinese buffets in Fresno dont even come close! Xlnt sushi of a dozen kinds with a japanese sushi chef in residence, or pick out your abundant fresh ingredients for a custom fried plate of meat and veggies or soup or choose from about a dozen well made Chinese dishes and for lunch 3 or 4 good seafood choices or 5 or 6 for supper and a great salad bar and good fresh fruit etc etc. Your drink is refilled promptly without asking. Great value for the money!

Do not go to this restaurant no matter what people tell you how good it is. I tried their sushi ginger and it was moldy and smelly. The service stinks!!!!! I went there with my family and they gave purposely gave us extra drinks when we did not order it and then still charge us for it. The waitress did not give us our straws or anything. They just basically stood around to make sure we did not get too much food because it was a buffet. After we were done the waitress even follow and stood beside us when were paying for our meal and making comments that we should tip them. Who does that????? Remember you only get a tip when you provide good service, hellooooo!!!!! If I could I would give no stars. Bad service and bad attitude.

My husband and I go here about once a month and take friends and family sometimes. We love it! For a buffet, the service is always extraordinarily attentive, I dont know if these other reviewers begin by making snide comments during the meal which offend the staff? But we have never had a bad experience. They are always available if you need more napkins, if youd like to order another drink mid-meal, and we find them stopping by to ask if everything is ok about twice during the meal even if we do not hail anyone. The food has NEVER been questionable as to temperature or freshness, and since we eat at sushi bars often as well I can tell you this is the best sushi from a buffet Ive ever had. It is consistently good!

Not a very great experience, took my son on his birthday over there, service wasnt all that great, staff there didnt really understood English, all they have is Asian food and seafood, but dont get me wrong I love all that, my nephew didnt like the food they have there because he was half Asian half Hispanic the most that I didnt really like is that every refills of cup they will charge 2 dollars for it, so I dont really recommend this place for anyone who doesnt really like seafood much, or being charge for every refills. This buffet didnt even made it to my number one list as if right now A Star still taste better and way better service.

Horrible!!!!...hot foods were basically cold and sushi items were warm it was also so hot in the restaurant..everything was lacking flavor..dessert area was a joke. Chocolate ice cream tasted like mold!!! Spit out at least 5 different things I tried for tasting bad or rotten. Told the waitress the ice cream tasted like mold and she replies well i just had it earlier it was fine...I will never go back its not even worth the cheap lunch prices. Meat quality and quantity in dishes was awful. Many many better options in Clovis for real food that doesnt taste like dish water.

I was curious about this place because of the mix reviews. I took some of family members for lunch today and I was worried because I know they have been to nice places with good food around town. WOW!! What a pleasant surprise - Mitsui Buffet has plenty of good quality and fresh selections and just $8.99 for lunch!!!! And they also have a stir fry section cook to order with your favorite selection of fresh ingredients!!! We were stuffed and happy! And the staff are very pleasant! Will sure come back again soon and will try it for dinner! Keep it up Mitsui!

We went on friday- seafood night. The food was great! Very fresh! Happy envornment, made friends and shared a birthday cake with half of the dinning room, for a moment to we were not strangers, very strange for a Asian buffet. The sushi is phenomenal for a buffet, the coconut shrimp is worthe the drive, the ginger lobster claw was amazing- the first time I had lobster and I see what the fuss is about! Only complaint I had was the crawfish were not flushed before they were cooked. But most people dont know that trick ;)

Looks good....but food is warm to cold ...mushrooms arent cooked , sushi wasnt fresh- i liked the way beer is available because you need to be drunk to full enjoy....bathrooms should be non.op Im doing 2 stars because the make your own dish cook was good and friendly, seems he doesnt belong here has capabilities to do bigger things! But thats my opinion...if you go consider it a taco shop setting so your not too disappointed....they also have frog legs.......

All sushi rice is dried, fried sushi is stine cold hard, food is very low quality. Not the best taste. Cheaper places offers better tastes. This low food quality is 14.99 dollars per person. Not worth the money, and will never come here again. I bet the full star people is their people or is hired people only. Should have asked for the price before we dine in. No price was displayed anywhere. See for yourself if you dont believe me.
