Has to be the worst ending to a night in my life. I guess I was too old and too black to be in this bar. My night started off okay. I came here to have a beer and enjoy the Warriors vs. the Blazers game.I had a couple of their weak AMFs. The game ended and I decided to hang out a little long. The bar was pretty packed with young college kids. After coming from the bathroom I was asked by security to follow them outside for no reason. I followed just to find out what was going on. Then I was told to step away from the door. I asked what was going on the the security guard at the door. He said I was being kicked out but he didnt know why because I he only watches the door. Then he asked on the radio( or pretended to) and then told me the reason I was being kicked out was because I was bumping into people. I didnt bump into anyone and if I had I would have apologized. I have been to more crowded bars in this city and never had a problem with being told that I was "bumping in to people". Seeing how there was a full line outside I had to figure the only reason I was really getting kicked out was that an older(mid 30s) black guy dressed in sweats and t-shirt didnt fit the demographic of the bar(young white college students). Of course I wont be going back and will be seeing what other actions I can take because this is straight up B.S. So the 901 Bar and Grill aint for you if you are OLD OR BLACK!!

The nine-O, as it is known by many, is an OK place. Prices are a little high (both food and drinks) for what the place is/offers, and it is constantly dark and crowded inside (especially on weekend nights). Nothing special other than it is a USC must and is a place visited by Greeks (fraternities, sororities) on weekends. Mainly tolerated for its closeness to USC and for being pretty much the only bar within a good range of the school. Gave it three stars because at least the service is great, bartenders and waiters alike are always kind, attentive, and offer quality service.

A great bar! Faith rules...enough said. And the kitchen is always making really good food right there in front of you! Super local spot. This is on the other side of MB so its a true dive like eras but not a trendy place for fake locals to have drinks. These are really South bay people. This place isnt going anywhere.

The ultimate college bar for USC students. It is a block a way from fraternity row and the crowd is mostly the greek community. They offer cheap drinks and food perfect for the college student. I recommend this bar if you are a USC student or is a college student in town visiting and want to meet other college students.

Inexplicably the only sports bar near the USC/Rams stadium. Bonus points for location but if youre here on game day for either team expect terrible service and overpriced food/beer. The fact that they serve beer in plastic pint glasses should say all you need to know about this bar.

Never tried the food, only been at night for drinks. Atmosphere is HORRID, unless you like a loud, stuffy room full of obnoxious grad-A frat boys. Impossible to have a conversation, and people are incredibly rude.
