Satura Cakes makes amazing cakes. We ordered our wedding cake and bite sized cake pieces from them for our wedding last year in November. We met with Sharon in advance for a cake tasting session where she gave us a selection of 8 different bite sized cakes to try. She advised us on the different options they have on wedding cakes and gave some good recommendation on how to present the cakes at the wedding reception. We opted for an acrylic cake tower that worked wonderfully when serving the cakes to our guests. Our wedding cake was a two-tiered red velvet cake with white cream frosting. It had a cake topper that we provided and a picture made with edible print on edible paper (also provided by us) as well as some writing. For the bite sized pieces, we ordered strawberry shortcake, passion cream, classic chocolate and tiramisu. These cakes were amazing. Everything was so tasty and our guests loved it. The two-tiered cake was supposed to serve 16 people and we had 80 bite sized cakes in addition to it. With 40 guests at the party, we had only a few leftovers which made for a tasty and sweet breakfast the day after. What I mostly like about their cakes is that they are not awfully sweet like a lot of cakes here in the States. They have just the right amount of sweetness and come with a lot of flavor. The pricing was totally affordable and we were able to pick the cakes up in the morning on the day of our wedding. All in all, I can highly recommend Satura Cakes. Not only for wedding cakes but also for visiting their store in downtown Los Altos which we do occasionally

Now i we are going out of town will be back and take our refund we have a order receipt. But when went back she says i dont believe you.. can you tell me how did the girl or guy look like who took your order. I said the name is there on receipt she said , she left i cant refund you back now... I said but why i have this receipt with me.... she actually shouted... i am a gentleman did not curse you as you were a lady... but GUYS you all be aware... hope this does not happens to you....

Service was terrible. We ordered and paid for a cake in advance and when we arrived at the bakery, they couldnt even find our cake. Ultimately we got our cake after we told the employee our name about 20 times. I dont even think he can understand English. He was also laughing at us because we were about to get a refund because they couldnt find our cake. I also suspect that they filled in the reservation on the spot because it does not take 25 minutes to find a cake that was already ready. Also its 3.50 for a muffin the diameter of a quarter. It was 29 dollars for a cake about the size of a dollar bill. Ive seen better service at a bakery in third world countries where people do not tip. I cannot recommend this bakery and I would rather eat a worm considering how overpriced this bakery is.

With my cup of coffee, I love the orange brioche, toasted - with a dollop of warm, cream cheese tucked inside, and bittersweet orange slice on top. It is the perfect play on flavors with the comfort of cream cheese. My other favorites are the strawberry shortcake, green tea hua hua roll, cheesecake, and mango pudding - all light and fluffy, not too sweet. Warning: the chocolate cookies are addictive. Dont start unless you have a friend nearby to restrain you.

My favorite cake shop in Los Altos. Japanese style cakes which mean the cake is really light with variety of flavors with French influence. Also serves good coffee and has a good selection of tea. Very popular with Japanese expats. Also does wedding and birthday cakes - which you need to order in advance. I love their chocolate cakes variety.

Many people come to this cake shop, because it is delicious, maybe some but not all, but the manager /owner has a bad attitude. In Palo Alto /Los Altos I think he is the worst manager/owner inside this area, I used to be a very loyal customer, but not anymore. I believe in this area, it will have other better cafe

The best cake shop in Bay Area, balanced and not sweet! We ordered their cakes since my daughters 1st BD and today she is 10. For other bakery reference, PB is so fake Korean Frenchy, 85C is too Taiwanese, and Parker Lusseau becomes American. Others are plain sweet that you can feel your cancer cells arousing.

I got the Rose Rasberry Verrine with lychee. First time Ive heard of this place, first time Ive heard of this dessert. It was really good and there were whole pieces of lychee! Id go back if I ever go back to Los Altos. They had so many yummy things that Id be scared I couldnt fit through the door.

Love this spot for tea and treats! Outdoor tables are great for meeting up with friends for a green tea latte and slice of carrot cake. The desserts are also a nice option to order for birthdays or holidays. Satura also offers packaged goods like artisan chocolates and teas.

I am a baker and so I cannot tolerate low quality pastries. Satura is one of the few bakeries that I quite like. Their cakes are usually light and not too sweet. Too bad that there is not much seating available, and the coffee is weak. Prices are high, but this is Los Altos.

The little cakes here are delicious. The cheesecake is definitely the stand out. I did not know cheesecake could be that light, airy, and fluffy! Its such a cute little shop to relax in and catch-up with friends. The coffee and lattes are a must if you dine in.

you must try the cheesecake here -- its the lightest and fluffiest cheesecake I have ever had. I could probably eat an entire Satura Cheesecake without stopping. After the cheesecake, the strawberry shortcake is a close second.

Great Japanese-style bakery! The macarons are amazing here. I also ordered a green tea latte and some other pastries. Everything was absolutely delicious. They also have an outdoor area where you can sit and enjoy your purchases.

The cakes are awesome here! Not too sweet, moist and usually look perfect. We enjoy their chocolate cake and the crispy chocolate balls. Price is a little high 4x2x2 cake for $6.
