Only place worse then this place is Sushi Ran in Sausalito. Terrible terrible terrible tini menu, frozen sashimi barely thawed out no diversity pot stickers from costco..... wont substitute ANYTHING .... old lady nice but can be a you know what if you ask too many questions dont waste your time and $$ .... go to King of the Roll around the corner so much better cant even compare the two.

Great family place. This is good basic japanese food in a fun homey atmospere. Great service too. My kids love this place. Favorites for them are the 2 item bento (teriyaki ckicken, tempura) and chicken sukiyaki. Tempura is perfectly done - a step above others anywhere near this price. Good luck

Such a homey, good-feeling place. Great food, and the service makes you feel almost like youre part of the family. Ive been there twice and I feel like Im already a regular. Its a good place to go with close friends or family. Undiscovered gem, but it works because there are so few tables....

Mama-san is just the nicest person! I had a great time and I loved the food! I had done nigori sake with my meal and she filled my cup to the brim! Also I really liked the cheesecake they have, its tasty and light :)

Mama san makes the restaurant the best. They make the best beef teriyaki. Everything is very tasty, authentic and beautifully presented. Very nice, cute froggy decor. We love this restaurant.
