My wife and I stopped by on Sunday at this place. Our first impression was great - a little loud, but its sunday brunch. We were sat quickly despite how busy it was. We ordered breakfast; my wife has severe celiacs disease and cant eat any dairy or gluten. We actually dont go out often because of the risk of cross contamination, but we arent local and gad a long drive ahead of us. The menu offered plenty of options and my wife told our server. When the food came out, my wife started eating her gluten free bread...or what we thought was gluten free. The fact that it was edible and didnt taste terrible should have been our first clue. 5 minutes later, a busboy comes out with the GF bread. Our server hadnt stopped by to touch the table after delivery, so we had no real way of knowing about the mix up. To be clear, i am a server myself, so i know how hard it can be to table touch within 2 minutes of food delivery when you are slammed, but when it comes to food allergies, you need to be on top of that. We immediately started panicking, but our server still didnt stop by. Eventually the manager (owner?) and apologized. Now, if it had ended there, this would have been a 2 star review. However, the server did come by and apologize, and they comped our entire bill (including my bill) which we were not expecting. THEN, after we left, the manager literally ran down the sidewalk after us to apologize profusely once more. While my wife did end up getting sick, we really appreciated how they handled it. Mistakes happen, but they more than made up for it. Despite the mess up, everyone there was extremely friendly, even though they were crazy busy. Plus the food came out quickly and was on point. I had the biscuits and gravy (i am not GF :D) and it was delicious. The spinach was different, but good, and the biscuits themselves were very good. To conclude, despite the mistake, my wife and I would definitely come back. Unfortunately, we dont live in marin, so who knows when we will be back.

From the time that you enter the Farm House in Larkspur, you feel welcomed despite of how busy they may be , David Monsen, the owner and Chef is clearly an experienced host. We have never made a reservation and we always can find a table. We had to wait once for only a few minutes in his lovely back patio. The ambience is that of a busy restaurant with a very fast turn over in a family setting. The food is absolutely outstanding, everything that you order here is cooked to perfection and even the decoration of the dishes is impressive. There is not one dish here that I would not order. This is not your typical restaurant, instead, this is a very high end restaurant for the sophisticated palate with a French Contemporary cuisine twist. The prices are very reasonable.

Delicious food, great staff and the refreshing sound of locals connecting with each other, doing business and simply enjoying the neighborhood. ALWAYS a FABULOUS "sign" My husband had the simple eggs, potatoes, sausage and toast; however Not the usual so so dish, but instead AWESOMENESS. My French Toast had grilled apricots, peaches and strawberries ALL LOCAL and packed FULL of flavor! The cheese was the perfect complment to the naturally sweet not too sweet savory surprise. We will be back soon and looking forward to trying lunch next time. Well Done Team Farm House!!!

The food is fresh and delicious. They really care about ingredients and what you put into your body and you can tell by the menu. Everything we had was fantastic and very flavorful. I believe the owner was there, working behind the counter, and seemed to know just about everyone walking through the door. Very friendly place and service was quick.

I love dining al fresco. The back area is pretty simple, with only a small fountain and a little decor, but the simplicity of it makes it feel like a lazy summer day in your backyard (if only you had a backyard). We shared the burata sandwich and calamari pasta - both were super tasty, with fresh quality ingredients. Friendly staff.

May be it was just bad day on the kitchen, everything served was overcooked on my plate and on husbands. Potato pancake seemed to be heated up from yesterday because it was soggy but had dark edges. Plus tables are so close to each other, so you can not sit in relaxed position. However, coffee and milk were fresh as well as greens.

FANTASTIC service! Great first impression made upon entry. Warm & friendly vibes right when you walk in the door. The food was excellent and the coffee was out of this world. I had Robins Egg Benedict with chanterelle mushrooms and leeks and it was phenomenal just as the other dishes were. We will DEFINITELY be back!

I had an amazingly yummy duck and veggie omelette here, served with artisan bread. It was the tastiest breakfast Ive had in memory. My friend had a hearty burger and could only finish half. Parking was very easy and the location on a quiet side street. Excellent Bicycle coffee too.

What a treat! After a long hike we stopped for lunch. The french toast was fantastic. Tasty and FRESH. A great find. It was my birthday and the chef sent over the best chocolate cake I have had in years! This is my new favorite post hike spot!

The food and service were great. There were laters and pockets of flavor in quality food that was prepared with care and thought. I came in on a whim hoping for something good and they exceeded my expectations.

Very good, creative brunch food. Not your typical diner. Not very set up for kids, but friendly to our toddler nonetheless.

Food was decent but it was outrageously expensive. 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and a cup of small fruit were $20.
