Tasty stuff. A bit pricey, but you are getting quality Seattle Fish and Chips. Service was fairly quick and about as friendly as old, salty, beachside restaurateurs can be. Youll want two pieces of fish, at least. All of it is great, but I prefer the halibut. The portions are medium-sized. If you went hungry, you could probably do three pieces. I prefer a beer batter on my fish, but the crumb-style batter here is about as good as its ever going to be. Id go here over Spuds for the fish; though I do think Spuds has the better prawns. Conveniently, theyre basically right next to each other, and are quite similar. If youre on the beach and craving some fried potatoes and halibut, its hard to go wrong with Sunfish.

LA COMIDA ES MUY BUENA, EL PRECIO ES ACCESIBLE, EL LUGAR ES MUY AGRADABLE, PERO EL SERVICIO AL CLIENTE DE LOS DUEÑOS ES PESIMO, PARA QUE TIENE RESTAURANTE SINO TIENE TRATO CON LOS CLIENTES, EN LO QUE ESTUVE AHI ... NO TUVO MANERA PARA DECIRLE A OTROS QUE YA IBA A CERRAR. ES GROSERO. BUENA COMIDA PER MAL SERVICIO AL CLIENTE.

We were out on Alki drive and noticed this restaurant along the way, so we decided to try it out. Dont expect to have anything other than just pretty much fried food, although the fried clams, fish and oysters and fries were delicious. The clam chowder was superb! My girlfriend ordered one of the salads, which was already pre-made and just in the fridge, which wasnt that good. If youre looking for some chowder or fried food, this is a good place to come and eat.

Though I prefer the Kirkland Spuds for some things, this place was a great spot on Alki Beach. The Halibut was obviously very fresh, good fries, and tasty condiments like garlic infused malt vinegar. The staff was friendly and judging by conversations they had with other customers, they take pride in their food and treating their customers like family. It seems like they knew half the people in there.

Sunfish is fantastic. Seattle has marvelous fish & chips, and this place is the best of the best! The cod is a bit "fishier" than the halibut---not a bad thing---I always get one or the other depending on my mood. The garlic vinegar is awesome; I put it on everything. The homemade tartar is also excellent. But the fish...the fish is just beyond compare. Great location, too.

Sunfish has the best fried shrimp Ive ever tasted, hands down. I live in Missouri but when I vacationed here we ate it every day. The shrimp is huge, flaky and juicy. The fries are great and the dill dipping sauce was to die for! Make sure you bring cash, they dont accept cards. The owner was super friendly and warm, too. It will be on your top foods list, trust me!

The worst Fish and Chips Ive had in two years living in Seattle. Fresh? Yes(the fish). Cheap? Yes. Good? No. The fries were tasteless...and its the fries that count! Says the fries are Gluten-free, but I watched the cook use the same tongs for the fries and the fish - contaminating everything - so the gf had to toss her meal away. Cash only. No adult beverages.

By no-frills they mean fast-food. The difference between this place and a fast food joint is that the price here is double and the fries are only half as good. Fun fact: the fries here are impervious to salt and flavor. No matter how much or what you douse them in, they will not budge, they will taste like bland potatoes. I wonder how they do that.

The price is a little on the higher side, but for the quality of the food and the nice serve it was great. Had the calamari and scallops and they were amazing, so were the fries. They put just lil salt on the food and thats how we like it, all natural flavors. For someone thats been doing this for 40 years, he knows his stuff. Great food.

Probably the best fish and chips place on Alki (sorry Spuds). The Greeks that run and own it are great and have been for decades. I highly recommend the Sunfish Special which is basically a grilled halibut skewer with onions and peppers. This place is CASH ONLY and do not take cards, unless it has changed in the past few months.

The best fish and chips Ive had! The halibut is my favorite, but if you prefer a more traditional, slightly fishy taste the cod is the way to go. Definitely put some oil and vinegar on your fish! I think they used to be cash only but now they take cards. The owners are super nice. Beautiful views, too!

Greek brothers Mike and Peter have been running Sunfish for over 27 years. While eating my delicious seafood, I enjoyed seeing how excited these older gentlemen got when they interacted with Pokemon GO crazed youngsters dropping in. Thank you Pokemon Go ! for the fun mixing up of generations.

Weve been going there since before our daughter was born, she is 21. We love there fish, calamari, chowder. My husband was their first customer, and they remember him. My husband had been a customer since there original location in west Seattle

Fish is fresh. Fries good. Malt vinegar with garlic wonderful. Got hassled for using a credit card, as if my business is only valuable over a certain price break. If credit cards cut the profit margin, raise the base price, again.

A timeless classic. Delicious, high-quality very reasonably priced cod and halibut on great fries. Nothing nouveau, "foodie" or trendy - the reference Seattle fishnchips from two Greek guys since forever.

We journeyed out to Sunfish on the hunt for some solid fish and chips (this place had the best reviews). We were very happy with our meals. The calamari was fantastic. Lovely views too.

Perhaps Seattles best Fish and Chips along the beach at Alki. The grilled halibut skewer offers a low fat alternative most fish and chips joints cant touch.

Legit! Superb! Everything is made fresh in house including the chips (fries) and tartar sauce. Locals love it. Friendly, unpretentious, family owned.

Food is great and price is also good. The garlic vinegar adds flavor to fish. It is close to beach and great for a quick lunch.

The best place to go on Alki for fish and chips. Try the sunfish special, a nicely grilled halibut and shrimp skewer.

They have the best clam chowder home made and hot, great on a rainy day with the view of Alki beach and the sound.
