Loved this restaurant, first time there yesterday and loved it, started with a sampler appetizer and the potatoe skins can for sure go head to head with Claim Jumpers loaded skins, the steaks are very good and perfectly cooked, had a bacon wrapped steak that was delicious, my wifes steak was also coocked to a perfect medium rare, kids had a corn dog and pizza and almost ate all their food and what they did not have they wanted to take home so that will tell you something, the service was great and very friendly; my only compalint would be that the shrimp that I ordered defenetly seamed like boxed frozen shrimp from Costco and I think fresh shrimp is always better but if you in the area and want a realy good steak you have to stop by, you will not regreat it and the prices are very resonable too.

My husband and I have been eating here and the other ones in Pasadena and Rancho Cucamonga for 35 years and have always loved it. The service is always pleasant and the food is always served fresh, hot and delicious. The only reason I give it a four star is because they need to do some deep cleaning and renovations to the tables and chairs. PS. The steer and ale in Pasadena has new ownership now and the service is real bad and the food is old and not good at all.

We have been eating here for over 30 years.Three generations of the Sotela family have enjoyed the Plank Steak for two. Chicken N Ribs are to die for. Family owned and operated.Great prices and Absolutely the best service hands down. We totally recommend this Wonderful Steak house.

Good atmosphere but wasnt impressed with the food. For a place called tenderloin, they dont actually serve tenderloin. Food is large portions and heavy but wasnt a fan of the seasoning balance. Im originally from Indiana and this place did not hit the spot.

This restaurant is a dead ringer for the Steer and Ale, one of my favorites in Pasadena. I was delighted to chance upon it. Good, solid, not fancy food. I always want to try various specials, but generally come back to their delicious specialty steak.

Although dated, the Tenderloin is a nice quick option for a local steakhouse. Prices are reasonable, and the steak is descent quality. Its not a high end steakhouse. You get what you pay for, and maybe a little more too.

The teriyaki beef kabob was not a good flavor at all, did not like my dinner AT ALL. The Ortega steak dinners ( two dinners) were not cooked to the customers request . VERY DISAPPOINTED! !With our Birthday dinner .
