This Japanese restaurant is one of my favorites in oldtown La Verne. First off, beautiful flowers and catus outside of the restaurant are enjoyable. Food is also great. I have always get sushi, fried vegetable and appetizers. By the way their appetizers are exceptional. I havent tried anything like lettuce wrap in any other restaurants-Its a must try! Lettuce wrap is great for lunch. Its light healthy and delicious choice.

If I can give this place 0 stars I would the lady was so rude. She came out and said write the tip on the receipt we told her no because she was rude and you dont ask somebody for a tip she walked away and said something under her breath with an attitude we definitely will not be coming back

The mixed sushi for the combo plate had a funny taste(NOT FRESH),H2O tasted like cardboard yet I still smiled & said thank you to the waitress. When I did not leave a tip she questioned it, pressed, demanded & alarmed my date about not tipping her (it was a scene).

The server was rude and the chicken teriyaki was more like chicken and gravey Brown meat with bones. When asked for a refund since the entire meal was not touched she become irate and refused the refund.

I just love their sushi and rolls. My friend always gets the teriyaki and tempura combo, but I always get the sushi or sashimi plate because I think theyve got the most fresh fish Ive ever seen.

I love Aoki Japanese Restuarant! I go every week Monday-Thursday and get the chicken bowl take out and its so good and affordable! A nice place to go if you want a quick and delicious meal
