I am updating my review due to a uncomfortable phone call yesterday. The girl on the phone could not tell me what topping they put on the bowls (this is after I went to there website and could not find the toppings). Each bowl differs quite a bit so knowing what they blend into them and what they put on top makes a difference. The employee told me she is not allowed to tell me what topping they put in the bowl however I could ask what if a certain item was on it and she could tell if it was not. So after about 3 or 4 minutes I gave up and said thanks anyways. I understand trying to protect your business but not at the expense of losing your customers. They take such a long time to make a bowl when there it is essential to call it in ahead. They do have a menu on the wall with all the ingredients by the way. If I go back (I probably will because they are sooooo good) I will be taking pictures of the menu for my future orders. Unless that yell at me for that, lol. I have tried bowls everywhere local that sells them and these are the best! No other compares. Call in your order otherwise prepare to wait a loooooooong time.

i LOVE coming here, but I will agree their service sucks (the only reason why I am giving them a 3/5). Im a local, and I have learned to ALWAYS call ahead. But sometimes, Im put on hold for nearly 10 minutes, and by that time I just hang up (sometimes it feels like they want you to do just that). And this was after trying for 10 minutes, just to get through to them (cause they only have one phone line). I feel like if they just put a few more people on schedule (and have one person that is JUST to manage the phone) it would be better. And people complaing that there isnt a bathroom...are kind of ridiculous because no other stores near mainstreet have bathrooms, so I dont understand why you would expect this store to have one. Other than that, 100% worth the try. A little pricey but worth it.

I came in at 7:55 and was forced to wait for a couple minutes while nobody was behind the counter. Then a blonde pregnant lady came out and told me the shop was closed at eight. I looked at my phone and saw it was 7:58. I asked her if she wanted to make $40 because I was there to buy four bonsai bowls - she looked at me and said no. Wow, what a great way to run a business! Im sure youre going to be open for many years to come with people like that working behind the counter. I had brought my family in from Michigan and was excited to share one of my favorite treats with them. I was humiliated. You have successfully lost a customer for life. Go grab a coffee down the street at Sessions instead. They treat you like actual people there. ✌️

The tastiest healthy Stuff! For a small place, it really packs a punch. There is a little wait time after you order, but sooooo worth it. The bowls are blended for YOUR order and ALL of the fruits on top are cut fresh. Theres plenty to choose from on the menu. If you dont love this stuff, your taste buds are dead . My favorite is the "Banzai Bowl", but every one of the bowls that Ive tried are really yummy. I was standing leaning against my car at the beach eating/slurping one, and a couple walks by and the guy points to me and says "they are the bomb!" The girl says " OMG, I love those!" Everyone I know loves Banzai Bowls!

First off I asked what comes on one of the bowls because I could not find it online and was told they are not allowed to say ... Because I find the concept great I tried this place three times... First time I waited 50 mins... Young kids were spending time talking gossip then working. The second try they got the topping all wrong and said they will scoop out because cannot remake it... The bowl was messy and missing 1/4 of smoothie. My third experience the girl was very rude and also forgot to add three items to my bowl... I must say being a local in Hb all my life this is by far the worst service I have seen

These are awesome and we go a couple of times a week. However, twice they have forgotten the GoGi berries which we paid extra for and also we phone in our order and then sat and waited over half an hour only to find out our order was sitting in the fridge the entire time and probably would not have been discovered had we not kept asking. When we complained all we got was "Im sorry" A good business would want to support a good customer and perhaps offer a free bowl the next time. But nothing was offered which certainly does not promote good customer relations at all.

Small building with limited seating and great banzai bowls. The line to order can be extremely long-most of the time out the door. The workers arent that attentive and sometimes forget to write down customizations. Theyre a little pricey but you get a large portion that will definitely fill you up and youll probably have leftovers. My best word of advice is to call and order ahead so you dont have to stand around and wait because it can take a while.

Ordered on the phone while I was 15 minutes away. Got there, paid and was told that it would be ready soon. Waited 20 minutes went to the counter to discover it had been in the fridge since before I got there. The girl just handed me the bowl and left. Didnt apologize for making me wait. Sucks that an employee has to ruin an otherwise nice establishment. Tldr: Good bowls. High prices. And hour wait time regardless of the amount of people.

Really good bowls but the worst customer service youll ever receive. Theres only one line with no call waiting and some times theyll put you on hold and then just hang up. Ive waited for up to 45 minutes for my bowls, checked in multiple times to see if it was ready, told "no" then come to find it was ready 25 minutes ago and thats happened more than once. Looking for a better banzai bowl place.

Wow this place is amazing!! This is hands down my favorite acai bowl spot. When in the area I will always get a large bowl (their large bowls are so fat!!) Ingredients are loaded and fresh and I cannot get enough of this place. The bowls are so big though that you run out of toppings and granola so ask for extra so you can dump more onto it later when you are half way finished.

We have had other acai bowls before, but going on recommendation by friends to try Banzai Bowls, we were not dissappointed, and must say, Banzais are by far the best. Having bought and made our own, we can also say the value is quite reasonable. We had them 3 different days during our short visit to Huntington Beach and were not dissappointed in the least.

Good smoothies, but theyre definitely overpriced and, for some reason, take forever to make. Also, portions vary dramatically. First visit, I got a decent amount. Second time (and last), it was half of what I got the first time, and when I pointed it out and compared it to what my friend got, the employees pretty much just shrugged. Never going back.
