I love banzai bowls dont get me wrong. I dont even mind the long wait, but I wont ever I back to this location. I think they have someone fishing from the till, or they lied to not give us our proper change. Yesterday my bf and I went and paid a $10 charge with a $50 bill and only got a $10 bill back. The kid behind the counter was like "woah they still have these?" Referring to the $50 bill. And we proceeded to converse with him. Nice kid. When we realized (after we left) we were short, my bf called and weve been trying to get this taken care of all day. We called multiple times and never got a call back from the general manager (guess he wasnt in the store today?) but one of the employees told us we could get a $30 gift card but they couldnt give us the change, because the kid said it was a $20 bill and their drawer was actually SHORT last night. Im furious. That was our gas money for the week, so, no, were not driving all the way back from FV to get the gift card. And worse, it really sounded like they have someone fishing from the till. Which sucks because I love banzais but I refuse to feed a thieving hand. So Ill be sticking to the location in HB.

Been here about a dozen times. The acai bowls here are great - no doubting that. They are made very well, but I feel like they skimp out on the toppings at times. Pricing is a bit high, but thats normal for acai bowls, or similar place like this. Theres enough food in the acai bowl to constitute a meal. But thats not my gripe about this place. As good as the food is, the service is just so-so. The workers are all "surfer"-type, lax, nonchalant people who do their job, but dont care for actual service. They do not put in the effort to make it seem like they even understand customer service. Anyways. There have been two occasions where there had been an employee who has visible signs of a cold, but didnt cover his mouth when prepping the food. Yeah, I get it. Work is chill, and all the customers are probably "chill", but there has to be a standard for behavior in the workplace. Come here for good acai bowls, but your experience with service may vary.

I love this place and grab a bowl whenever I can. The staff is great and the manager who is usually there in the evenings is awesome (Trevor)! Had my name and typical order down after two visits. The music inside is usually loud and the constant roaring of blenders can make it a challenge to talk with friends, but they do have an awesome uncovered patio area. There is a very laid back/mellow vibe to the place that makes it enjoyable to hangout and enjoy your bowl. I suggest the açai diamond head, so good! If youre in during a rush be prepared to wait bowls take time to make and that will vary depending on how seasoned the staff is at the toppings counter. The shopping center it is in is very small and doesnt have a lot of parking spots for having so many food places. If you show up during lunch or dinner hours its luck of the draw for getting parking spots, there is Westcliff Shopping Plaza across the street though.

Dont get me wrong , Banzai Bowl is BOMB and its also quite pricey which is why Im writing this review. I use to go there all the time , either get the Maui or the wedge smoothie . I always ask for extra cacaonibs and strawberries and what not (they charge $1 extra for everything) So its not like Im getting it for free . So when I pay extra for all that and I dont get it in my drink or bowl , yeah I get pist off because not only one did I pay extra for it but you clearly didnt even bother to look at the paper thats attached to the cup thats says exactly what I want. These past 4 times I went they messed up on my drinks, $20 to the trash (I get 2, one for my gf and I) and the people that work there are sometimes jerk about it ! I get it , its packed all the time but I dont mind the wait if youd just make my order right instead of just doing whatever. Its becoming more of a quantity over quality.

Literally waiting over 40 minutes for our bowl. The customer service is very poor. None of the staff look like they slightly enjoy their job. No smiles at the customers either. We cant understand their system for handing the bowls out because people who order long after us have already been served. Somehow our bowl was taken to the back and was just sitting there. One of the staff apologized for the wait and reported it was due to being short handed because smeone called out. The bowl tasted amazing! So unfortunately I will most likely be back

I dont understand why everyone raves about this place. Yes, the acai bowls are good, but they are not the ONLY place in OC that makes tasty acai bowls. I have been here a few times and experienced poor customer service from the staff, they wont tell you what fruit their bowls have in it over the phone so you cant order to go (which most people would recommend because they take 15-20 minutes to make a bowl) so unless youve been in many times before and memorized their menu, youre out of luck.

I used to live across the street and visit all the time, now I drive in from Orange for my fix on weekends. My favorite is Da Kine with added hemp protein and added blueberries on top. This bowl is so tasty. I tried a similar one at Jujubar up the street, but it didnt come close. Da Kine Blend: chocolate hemp milk, acai, bananas, strawberries and peanut butter. Top: granola, bananas, almond slices and honey

Always delicious. I recommend the original Banzai Bowl. Great local shop for a specialty sort of dessert. A regular size is plenty - a large is likely too much for one person. Its super-loud inside because theyre always running their really loud blenders, but grabbing a spot outside in the sun is great. Relaxed atmosphere and pretty chill place.

Although its delicious, I found that it was a too big a portion and though rightfully priced, I would have liked a smaller size option that is more cost effective and smaller for me. Also, it took forever to get my bowl; I waited almost 20 minutes! All in all, its delicious, but takes too long, and should have more sizing options.

Amazing food made with fresh ingredients. Its definitely an establishment that promotes healthy nutrition. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat. Try the Banzai with asai, banana, apple juice, granola and topped blueberrys and Bee pollen yum!! :)

Best bowl in Orange County. I get the ShoYo Bowl. Large is LARGE. I like their for hear real bowl better than to go. Great taste, quality and portion. The negatives are parking, some long waits, and only hemp or almond milk for their coffee.

Love the bowls. Fresh and healthy. For those of you who complain about wait, tip is to call 10-20 minutes before you arrive. Bowls will be waiting, in and out fast! Think people, have # in contacts, its simple, dont complain.
