Ya I recently moved to Fremont and checked these guys out....ordered nattu koli biryani......it was bad.. meanin really bad compared to shan...,anjapar(sanjose)....appakadi in santaclara ...I am used to good food not junk....I tried this joint out second time(benefit of doubt ..)....today.....I put in a takeout order...for dum biryani...got a call after 10min sayin they are out ....and....interested me in nattu koli biryani(cm on like I am gona try that )... so I swapped for bone less chicken biryani....went there picked it up paid ~ $11..came back ..opened it surprise............WHITE RICE/CHICKEN CURRY........I mean this is disgusting....u guys sell this piece of "CRAPPPP" as BRIYANI....really for $11 u lost a customer for ever......this is not BRIYANI....u cannot sell white rice and chicken curry and tag it as BRIYANII...I mean ....I can understand if Punjabi restaurant do that...u guys are south Indian and u shd knw what biryani is.......JUST VENTIN out cause I was in a mood to eat BRIYANI and got this crap......

The worst food I ever had. Ordered a chicken biryani as a to-go order but it seems that they served me a batch that was made for lunch during dinner time. The food looked stale and taste wasnt really fresh. After trying the food, i called the restaurant back and they insisted that it is fresh and in was put in tandoor just 15-20mins before. Yaa sure it was put in tandoor but to reheat and not to cook. Do not recommend this place. They serve stale food and can cause serious health issues.

I wish I had zero rating to rate . People who eat here will get their stomach filled because they add a chemical called "sunnam". Its edible though. But it fills up the stomach. The mirchi was bad , the chicken was so hard to even tear . Very very bad . Please dont go . Im pretty much sure the rice which they served us was not even meant to be for dogs . Please dont come . And I am sitting at the table , the removed glasses . And I felt so bad .

Used to go regularly at Fremont peacock but now we Hate this place, very poor service waited for 15 minutes finally waiter came we were about to give order. In the mean while another customer of other table called him, he left immediately to that customer with out saying anything to us.Finally we left from restaurant after that incident in front of manager but no response from them. F*********k

I went along with my friends they came from east cost, I check with my friends in Bay area They refer me to go to peacock restaurant in fremont , we order Two chicken Briyani and one veg Briyani .when they order came they food was cold and Taste of the Briyani was awful, I will not recommend anyone to this Restaurant & hence I will not recommend to this restaurant , service is Bad .

The food is overall excellent. Spicy, very hot (hot as in temperature). Goat curry is not that appealing as the lamb chops were rubbery. What is best is the rasam and vada. I liked the andhra dal. Chicken items are good. Beware do not visit on friday to sunday: rates are jacked up 11 dollars compared to 8.99 +taxes in weekdays. Desserts are limited in variety. Overall I rate it at 4 stars.

This restaurant is not for the quality food. If you want to dump something into your stomach, you can go to this place. We had been to this restaurant in a weekend for lunch buffet. Only Chicken biriyani tasted good. The price is not worth for the food and also they add 15% tips automatically even for the buffet. Next time check your receipt. As usual their restroom stinks.

3 key things in running a restaurant for me i.e Quality of the food, Taste of the food, AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. This PEACOCK is BEST in all the above three and the food available is likely to be as Homely food. I had went to their lunch buffet many times, it has a big menu with reasonable price and i am very much fond of their pastries.

Was very impressed, this was my first visit. Menu varied, I had a delicious crab sandwich. Prices are reasonable, service very good. We sat for awhile visiting and were not rushed at all, Decor is booths and linen, kind of old school. Which I enjoyed, kind of tired of the new warehouse looking restaurants with uncomfortable chairs.

So far one of the best tasting north & South Indian dishes! Quality is great lots of veggies in every dish best biryani. Good service! Excellent tea, best indian sweets! Every time I go there I really enjoy the food! Bathrooms need new toilets for sure! Hope the owner pays attention to that as sanitation in USA is very important.

I ordered the kheema naan it was worst. The goat curry and chicken curries were not good. In buffet routine curries. but north curries kadhai paneer, chicken tikka masala curries were very good. so I am giving the rating, and the fruits salad and mango lassi tastes same. Now a days the chilli chiken is exclent.

Never saw manager like that he dont care about guest he speaks very rudely . Attitude of that manager is that he gives food free of cost. He is biased to one group of people. Management should look into this issue very seriously . With out friendly attitude if they give good food whats meaning in it .

On a weekday, waiter took 10 mins to come to outlet table even though the restaurant wasnt crowded. I had to go and take menu card from the desk after ordering food. It took 40 mins for getting the food. 10 mins to bring the check... If you cant deliver on time, you shouldnt be running a restaurant.

Too spicy. I guess it is great only if you love chillies. Even after asking/telling the server 10 times about mild dishes for the kids, all we got was spicier and spiciest dishes. They could only drink water :) We had to prepare something for them and wife at home. Never going back.

The customer service is very bad, the owner feels very hard to give discount to students though it does not matter much to students and to him also I think. I said an item smells bad he said it smells like that only dont we know whether it smells bad or not?

They really need to improve the quality of food..they cant just utilize the large amount of Indian community by just giving Indian tag and Indian dishes..they are in a prime location and should leverage this advantage by giving better quality food..

Awesome!! The Hyderabadi Chkn Biryani is awesome...The lamb/goat curry is superbb.. The sweets and puri and all the other stuff are really mouth watering!! I visit once in a week.. The staff is also very good and supportive..Best in the Bayarea..

Had ordered a TO GO, the Naans were all burnt, all the Naans were burnt, even the Andhra daal was burnt. one of the worst order i would say. Looks like some one is not happy with their job and screwing someones hard earned money. Disapointed !!!

Never order their parathas...they put half leaf of methi and call it methi patatha....all gravies are sweet....initially they say biryani is over as most public come for jus biryani....very poor service....dont waste your money here.
