I ordered two items from straw hat pizza today through a 3rd party app. The menu was simple and had plenty of options, and I was incredibly excited to try their sandwiches. An hour and a half later, I had to call the chain in order to find out where the driver and my food was. The driver had gotten lost, in my conplex, no less, and hadnt even called me to clarify where my apartment was located. I was less than friendly with the driver once he arrived, and his saving grace was being kind and putting customer service first, which is why it bumped up to two stars versus one. When my husband and I finally areceived our food, it was bland and lukewarm. The fries were overcooked and unsalted, my sandwich was close to burnt, and with waaay too much cheese, and the veggies on it were wilted and sad-looking. My husband only got two bites into his sandwich before calling it quits, due to the fact that it was hard and tasteless. Our cheesy bread, however, was great. Hopefully next time, I will be able to go into the location, and enjoy my food fresh.

Excessively loud karaoke (on a Saturday evening, not unheard of) - however there was no place in the restaurant it could be ignored. It took twenty minutes to get my order; I walked up to no line and saw orders enter the oven and leave the kitchen before I got mine. And my order, a sandwich, was improperly assembled and greasy. I will never go back to this establishment.

I just went here for lunch. My friend had a piece of hair in his pizza. He politely asked for a refund and the girl at the counter said "well there wasnt hair on the WHOLE pizza, just that slice." What?? Thats like going to sub-way and having them say "there wasnt hair on the sub, just THAT piece of lettuce." Sorry Straw Hat, your off my list of lunch spots.

Pizza is pretty good, but not excellent. They always have Heretic beer on tap, which is awesome. They also have Goose Island IPA on tap. As well as your watered down light beers, of course. Theres a group of young adults running the place and they are very polite and respectful. Its kept clean.

From the moment you walk in the door the staff is friendly and helpful. They continuously check on you to make sure you are taken care of during your meal. There are many tvs with sports on to watch along with local news. Very good atmosphere, never too busy.

Pizza tastes good but service its bad. One time we waited 2 hours for our pizza to be delivered and when we got the pizza it was cold and it looked like he had dropped it... They need work on their service or they are going to loose business.

Straw Hat on Horizon Drive in Fairfield has excellent food. from the time you walk in, you are greeted by a very friendly staff, and taken care of right away. I am happy to see Straw Hat back in Fairfield..

Put you on hold over and over again because they dont want to deliver the last hour of business, pizza is ok, a couple of times the price givin on the phone and what the delivery guy said were off.

Ordered from this place. Bought a 30$ meal and tipped 10$. They took 75 minutes to deliver. They couldnt find my place, so they delivered to a house across the street. Cant recommend.
