This is a review of the Folsom Habit Burger, not the company as a whole. If i was judging the other locations i have eaten at the score would be 4 stars. The only reason this review recieves a 2 instead of a 1 is because the food is honestly good and I dont want to scare people away. I went to the Folsom Habit Burger after work and placed my order. I am a somewhat picky eater but my burger should not be difficult to make. Bun, patty, lettuce, onion. The server assured me the order would be done correctly (I told her about two previous orders that were prepared incorrectly) so i took my bag of food and went home. Well, when i get home there is ketchup and tomatoes on one of my burgers. After deciding I would just take my burger back and get a refund, the girl tried to convince me to get a new burger. I asked for a refund on my entire order (2 burgers and an onion rings) to counter the costs of having to do a second trip to the restaurant and i was told i would only be reimbursed for the one burger they made a mistake on. After calling their corporate office they were extremely apologetic and offered to send me a gift card to make up for the missing money. I accepted and will return to one of their other locations (the location on Sunrise and Madison is great) but will not be back to the Folsom store.

The food was good but thing that bothered me was that I ordered a combo meal (hamburger, fries and drink) but wanted sweet potato fries. So, I got what I ordered BUT after looking at my receipt I discovered that I had been charged an EXTRA $2.60 for the sweet potato fries. I looked at the menu and noticed that I paid FULL PRICE for the sweet potato fries even though I ordered a combo! I asked the manager about this and he said that this was "just they way they do it". So, if you subsitute ANYTHING be advised that youre going to pay full price for the item even though you order a combo! Also, since youre paying full price be sure to ask for the all of the "standard" items that come with the combo. At least this way youll get regular fries too that you can share or pig out on yourself!

We love the Habit Burger in Roseville, so decided to try out the Folsom one. The first time we waited about 20 minutes to get our burgers, and my Albacore Tuna was way overcooked and chewy. The second time I ordered online, my wife went to pick up the food and waited about 15 minutes for them to finish the onion rings, while our burgers were already done and getting cold. By the time we took our food home everything was cold and soggy.. and to top it off we didnt get the large drink that we paid extra for. (gave us a small or medium) Unfortunately it seems like the Folsom store is too busy to make quality food. I called to complain but couldnt reach a Manager.. well see if they respond and Ill update my review.

I have always loved going to habit Burger but today was the first time that I was so disappointed in that place and so I called the number which it takes you to a call center and I was told that I will have to go get the food right away but the thing is I work and I only have a 30 minute lunch and the lady told me well I cant help you you have to go replace your order now I told her I am at work and my lunch is over and I cannot but you guys serving french fries and onion rings and taste like I did not know that they were hurting for money

The habit is a wonderful burger joint that is somewhere between a fast-food place and a more expensive sit down restaurant, like Red Robin. Their selection of different burgers is decent, each choice offering something different and delicious. The fries are crisp and yummy, but their tempura-fried green beans are to die for. Some of the specialty burgers can get up there in price, but a double patty burger with fries and a drink is less than $8 and it tastes orders of magnitude better than McDonalds.

My visit to The Habit in Folsom today was fantastic. The service was great, the restaurant was very clean and, most of all, the food was fantastic. Had a Double Char and shared a Portabella Char with a friend. Two of the best burgers I have enjoyed in a long, long time. Fresh, juicy and delicious and the flavor of the meat was not masked by too much sauce or veggies. The portabella ads a bit of delicious mushroom earthiness to the burger and would be fantastic without the meat. Next time.

Im a pretty big fan of the Habit Burger, and my friend had never been, so we stopped by on the way up to a rafting trip on the American River. I got the BBQ Bacon Char, with a strawberry + chocolate smoothie and normal fries. My food came out within a few minutes after I ordered, that was pretty awesome! Okay I regret the strawberry + chocolate smoothie. It tasted really weird. But everything else was delicious! Service is fast and friendly.

Id give the Sacramento-area The Habit restaurants 4 stars. The lack the fifth star not because the burgers are not delicious--they are--but because corporate wont let them sell their famous chili. The Habit is a small chain started in Santa Barbara many years ago. Only recently has it expanded into Northern California. Its menu,while not extensive, provides meat lovers and vegetarians with sufficient choices for a good meal.

The best fast-food burger Ive eaten in Folsom, and Ive tried almost all of them. Char-broiled is the way I like it, and Carls was my favorite until I tried Habit burger. The fries were pretty good and fresh too. Ordered a combo, but did not substitute anything (normally get onion rings instead at Carls), so cant verify previous comment regarding paying full price.

The burgers are good, perhaps a little salty, but good enough. Service is always excellent. Staff is uniformly helpful and motivated, very friendly. Its excellent fast food - align your expectations, and its a great burger. But whats with the flies? Honestly, its baffling how many flies are in that place. Stay away from the window seats.
