Saw this online as winning “Best Bakery in California” and given that I consider myself a bit of a bakery aficionado decided I had to check it out while visiting my parents’ house. Came on a Monday, late-morning and was surprised to find a rather longish line — which quickly grew over 10 people as I waited in it. All of the seats were occupied as well. Ordered some assorted donuts and a cinnamon roll - the latter of which was delicious and clearly a standout. The icing was incredibly fresh (they pour it on after you order) and had exactly the right consistency - not too soupy while at the same time fluid enough to naturally cover the entire roll. Well done!

Theres a one star rating while many others have given no less than 4 stars? Something is not right here. I have to agree with the majority here. Ive been to this place numerous time. Customer service is excellent. Their baking goods are excellent. They are fresh made it right there, not the night before. Try it yourself. I can guarantee you that you will not be disappointed. There are couple other donut shops in the area. Experience them all. Then come back here to tell which one is the best. People are saying that workers at this place had ignored him./her. Its very hard to believe. I want you to experience it yourself and come to tell us as well.

I have been coming here most Sundays for almost a year. The highest praise one can recieve is a repeat customer, I have noticed I am far from the only one. Most visits I will recognize other customers I have seen other visits. The doughnuts and cinnamon rolls here are leaps and bounds ahead of the competition. Consistency is key, and this place delivers. I have never once had anything bad here, the quality is amazing. The family that owns and runs the place provide the highest level of customer service and are extremely kind and generous. I couldnt even suggest a single change, this place is wonderful, just the way it is.

Heard about BJ Cinnamon from others and decided to give them a try. First I started off with just the donuts and all of them were outstanding, especially the raised glazed. Then later heard great things about the cinnamon rolls and decided to try them; amazing! This is a family run small business and they are about as nice as they come; all of them. They have had to staff up recently due to all the good PR they have received from the media. If you have not been here yet, make your way down and give them a try. You will not be disappointed and will likely find them to be your new favorite donut shop and bakery. ENJOY !

Phenomenal doughnuts. Got a regular glaze and two cinnamon rolls. This place is doing it right. Obviously everything is made from scratch, easy to tell from the amazing taste and texture. The cinnamon rolls are cinnabun style but way better. The place is also amazingly clean and concerned about following health procedures. I watched an employee go from the front counter to the back to check on some dough in the mixer and he actually washed his hands before even thinking about touching anything. This place is a rare gem.

LOVE this place! They have the best doughnuts and your can ask them to stuff any doughnut with whipped cream (croissant doughnut stuffed with whipped cream is my favorite). I am also in love with their breakfast sandwiches, which come with choice of meat with cheese and egg on a fresh baked croissant the size of a large plate. They are my favorite breakfast sandwiches by far! In addition to serving amazing food, they are a really nice family. Couldnt ask for better service!

Awesome! A family run cafe with hard working people with great respect and behavior. Me and my wife had their cranberry muffin and walnut muffin. After finishing the muffins we had to go another round because they we perfect and fresh. My son got a donut as a complimentary. I really admire hard working people and the families like them, specially the grand mother she deserves a bow and salute from every single customer.

we actually found this place one night when we were craving donuts. everywhere else was closed but we spotted this place with an open sign around 5pm. yeah, the donuts are amazing but lets be honest - ive never met a donut i didnt wanna eat. :D but the service is even more amazing. david was so genuinely nice, and makes the BEST chai latte. havent been to another donut shop since and dont plan to, pretty much ever again.

There Isnt a bad treat in this place!!!! Weve tried nearly every donut, cinnamon roll, muffin and breakfast crescent, and they are all so yummy. The sweet, caring, family is just icing on the cake. I hate to give another rave review, as they are really busy as it is, but if any donut shop in the area deserves praise, its them. Weve always loved them since we moved her 4 years ago, and will continue to visit them weekly!

Everything is great. Their raised glaze donuts are the best in the area. Specifically, the maple bacon bar is outstanding. They are the only place to do it right... A good thick strip of bacon on bar. There are several types of cinnamon rolls. Ive tried and love them all. They also make a cranberry fritter that a must have on ever trip. The entire family is friendly and make a fun place to visit often.

Best place for donuts in the city. Staff is great, coffee if tasty, and you can get a dozen donuts for less than ten bucks. If you end up coming by I recommend getting their cinnamon rolls. The place is called BJ Cinnamon for a reason. One last thing. Forget the McDonalds iced coffee. A two dollar medium iced coffee is more than a large from here, and the coffee tastes better to boot.

The cinnamon rolls and donuts are amazing. One of my other favorites is the ham and cheese croissant. This is a family run place, and they all make you feel like old family friends. I love listening as customers share their news with one another. Kids stop in for just a drink of water after school or to buy a few donut holes and they are always treated so kindly.

Did someone say "Doughnuts"? They are wonderful both the doughnuts and the staff. I asked for them to fill a couple chocolate bars. They did so without hesitation. The chocolate bars were so fresh and warm right out of the oven. I made a complete mess of myself trying to eat it while driving but well worth it. Will definitely be back.

One guy behind the counter helped a couple of guys so we waited behind in line and then he took another guys order before mine. BJ Cinnamon is a lovely ma & pa shop thats tucked in a very unassuming area of Folsom. Youll likely subconsciously pass it as you look for it, but thats ok, itll wait for you. The cinnamon rolls are amazing, and if you request extra icing, theyll pile it on like its a submersible entering an icing ocean
