Family owned, with husband and wife working daily. They usually dont come off as extremely approachable, however, their customer service in all other areas is exceptional. They offer delicious and inexpensive fruits and vegetables, most of which are grown on their farm. If its not grown here then they outsource to local farms, with signs on all of their food stating what the food is (peach, apple), their name (granny Smith, independence), and where they come from (our farm, or the name of local farm). They also sell other yummy snacks and their shop includes a bakery that sells a few lunch items as well as some of the best pies I have ever had. I highly recommend their apple pie, it sets a new standard for the basic apple pie that has never been experience previously. If you are new to the area, passing by, or just have never come to the Fruit Bowl, I promise of you make the time to stop in, you will not regret it.

Great spot for various baked goods, snack foods, drinks, and fresh fruit grown on acres of land around The Fruit Bowl itself. Also had a Cafe that serves coffee and can make nearly anything to order if youre willing to wait for it. Pretty location and open air market give it a quaint atmosphere I really enjoy.

I went to the Fruit Bowl to get dessert for a dinner last evening and I waited over 15 minutes for a clerk in the bakery, and they had no customers except me...The women was a bit put out that I wanted to buy something. This is the last time I will go there..

Farm fresh produce, fresh baked goods This is a charming place that has been here since 1947. Summertime is their specialty, with lots of varieties of peaches and cherries and other local stone fruit. Homemade, delicious baked goods.

Lovely roadside market selling produce, preserved goods, and more. They also have an attached bakery with coffee and pastries. Nearly lost a tooth on one of their sticky buns.

Ive always gotten consistantly good quality food and service every time throughout the ten or so years Ive been a customer, and the sometimes short wait is well worth it.
