I heard about this restaurant had opened in my neighbourhood and thought will go and check how it is. Online I saw all positive feedback. Looks like they created the review also themselves. This was the worst indian restaurant i ever went. We ordered for vegetarian samosa and they mixed it up with chicken one and when we told them they showed least regret and said it was a small mistake. I was so angry , for a strictly vegeterian person like me...i was under the assumption that indians here understand what religion and belief is but probably not this place. So I just cancelled my order and came away as I didnt want any more mixup. The attitude of the owner and the customer service is horrible. Probably they need some training and some one to make them understand that these are not small mistakes and one doesnt expect this to happen in an Indian restaurant.

went there for the first time. the restaurant looks new and super clean comparing to a lot of the Indian restaurants that I ve gone to seem run down and not very clean. so I like that. chips and dipping taste great. the chips taste like freshly made. I, of course ordered my favorite Peshwari Naan. (with almond, coconut and raisins). the Naan is a bit thicker than other place. food comes really fast. I was surprised. we ordered 1. Lamb Hayderbadi (chef special) It was great!!! 2. Chicken Vindaloo--yes! its spicy. I love it that it come with little candle burning under the dish! 3.Lamb Biryan--its nicely cooked 4. Kulfi(indian ice cream made with pistachio)--I didnt like it very much... Its nicely made but I think comparing to ice cream its missing the creamy taste. over it was good experience.

I loved the location. From the outside it doesnt look that spectacular but once inside youll experience its appeal. Friendly staff, dim lights, and booth seating allow for a peaceful meal. We tried numerous dishes most of which were pleasant but nothing outstanding. I personally enjoyed their mixed naan and the vegetable biryani. I liked the naan because it had a great contrast between crispy and soft. It also had a ton of flavor that didnt take away from the bread. Similarly, I enjoyed the vegetable biryani because it had lovely flavor throughout with bits of veggies in ever bite. Overall Nice place to grab dinner. I would highly suggest grabbing their lunch special if youre in the area- seems like a good deal.

This is my fiances favorite Indian food in L.A. I also like it but I cant say its my fave (that may go to Clay Oven in Sherman Oaks!) But, I do like this place a lot and their food is always consistent. If you like your food spicy be sure to indicate that on your order as they tend to under spice it for non-Indians. Alex always gets the chicken tikka masala and I tend to get the chicken tikka and the raita. Whether delivery, or in the restaurant, the food is always good and hot and the wait staff or delivery people are always nice.

We ordered for delivery and the food was mediocre. The naan was rubbery, and the okra was lacking in flavor. The appetizer sampler was average and the tikka masala was pretty good. Overall, nothing to write home about. I thought the prices were too high for the quality of the food. Lastly, I thought the delivery person was a little rude when I gave him what I thought was a good tip. I will not be ordering from this place again.

The food is really quite good. And very reasonably priced. The service is quick and personable. Personally, I love the tandoori chicken. My wife? Tikka masala. They accommodate your tolerance of spice with a milder version equally delicious. We bring our friends regularly. Admittedly, we are regulars. Finding nothing that disappoints, we keep coming back. Great place!

Im a creature of habit. I have to have the tandoori chicken. Very good for my taste, I have only been to three Indian restaurants, but, I was not disappointed. Food was very tasty and service was excellent. I was made to feel right at home. I quite appreciate that.

The ambience was great and place looked pretty good. If you are a north Indian, u would definitely like the spice level and the curries . Being a south indian I ordered for hot spice level of a chicken dish but it tasted bland to me. Altogether, good experience !

Anarbagh has the best Indian cuisine. What makes this place stand out is the excellent vegetarian selection as well. The only thing I would say is that the service isnt incredibly fast on busy evenings, so make sure you have plenty of time when dining here.

Wow. Stood at the entrance for like half an hour. No one comes up to ask for names, nothing. Jack. Then people star start coming in after us and somehow theyre seated before we are. Dude in the blue shirt completely blows us off like we werent even there.

Definitely my favorite Indian restaurant in LA. Great service, if not a little bit slow, and great, absolutely fantastic food. The naan is the best I have ever had as well.

I came for a late lunch and was not disappointed. The ambiance is not as distracting as other Indian Restaurants and the price is very reasonable (~$10). Food is delicious!

The food is delicious and prepared with a light touch. Its never overly flavored or greasy so you can appreciate the flavor nuances. Service was good as was presentation!

Great people and food. They have many vegetarian options. There isnt a huge beer selection, but there are enough. The prices are good and the portions fill you up.

Its a good place for someone new to the Indian cuisine, but for someone who wants to have the authentic Indian food this is not the place.
