I thought the food here was quite good. It would be nice if the portions were a little bigger, but that said, I would take quality over quantity any day. My wife order their "Thali" option which includes a wide variety of samples from several different dishes. That dish certainly came with plenty of food. The environment felt a little dated for my liking, and a little too dim for me. The staff means well, and Im sure they were just trying to make sure we had a good experience, but it was frustrating for our group when they kept coming back multiple times to ask us the same question. I also thought it was a bit excessive when the waiters constantly came by to fill our waters when we had barely drank anything. However, for all I know, thats a cultural thing for them and Im the one weird one for thinking its excessive!

This is by far my favorite place to eat in the Tri-Cities! I have eaten here 4 times already and the food is AMAZING!!! The staff are very courteous and kind and they really go out if their way to make sure u are happy with your dining experience. My son wanted to come with me once you try it and he ordered something that he didnt really like so they let him pick another entree and they let us have it for free! I thought that was very cool of them to do that. The food is tasty and delicious! The mango lassi is sooooooo good!!!! I hope they are here to stay!! :)

Masala has such a delicious menu. The cuisine is hydrabaadi food. The staff is so warm and friendly. I know that most non south asians love to get the butter chicken, tandoori, or tikka dishes, but they have so many great dishes there. These popular dishes are great too, but iff you are not south asian, but like to be adventurous, try the eggplant curry or the chicken karahi or the gobi. Each time I have been there, the food and service is consistently good. If you have not been, definitely go.

They lost my business today. After paying $26 for my dinner items and $5 for a tip, I got home only to find no rice to go with my dish. I called to ask about what happened and they didnt try to make it right. Just said Sorry- like im out of luck. Ive been there time and again for a delicious buffet, but do not trust them to pack food to go for you. Ill find somewhere else to give my money to.

We bought 2 Buttered Chicken A la cartes with garlic naan, for pick up. The nana was fabulous, but for $28 dollars we received about 16 very though 1 in cubes of chicken, in watery sauce that tastes like the instant mac-n-cheese powder with curry, and about a cup 1/2 of rice. What happend the food use to be pretty good, with reasonable portions? I hope this was a fluke.

I love Indian food and this place is as authentic as it gets. If you are not sure about Indian food, check out their daily lunch buffet and you should be able to find something that you like for the same price as an entree. Plus all the staff are very kind and welcoming. To make your trip extra special, add a mango lassee drink to your order.

I am from India and whenever people take me to Indian food places, they ask if the food tastes authentic. I think the South Indian food in Masala is more authentic. Their North Indian food is delicious but I will say its close to authentic, just a bit different. I would recommend this restaurant. Amazing South Indian food, and great buffet.

One of the best Indian restaurants in tricities. They have well season traditional Indian dishes with generous portions. They have a great selection of dishes and side and drinks as well. The service there is friendly. If you want to try something different and delicious this is the place for you.

This is a great, affordable, and delicious place for lunch. They have a buffet with wonderful varieties full of color, flavors, and smells. The staff is very efficient, friendly, and attentive. If you are looking for a great Indian food place in the tri-cities, Masala should be your first stop!

This really is a GREAT Indian Restaurant. We have mostly just gone to the buffet during lunch hours but this place has quickly become our favorite. Weve tried dozens and dozens of different Indian Buffet restaurants all over the US and this place ranks towards the top of all of them!

The lunch buffet was pitiful. The rice was crunchy, the chicken tasted like it was a week old. First bite of food was a mouthful of cartilage and fat with a rancid aftertaste. The Naan was crunchy and the chutney was as liquid as the diarrhea I had after eating here.

Very good authentic Indian food. I prefer to go for lunch when the buffet is available. Especially like the curry and butter chicken. A lot of options including vegan/vegetarian available. Price is very reasonable for the buffet especially on weekdays.

My main course--Tandoori mixed grill--was a disappointment. The chicken breast, lamb, and fish were all dry. The waiter said thats the way its supposed to be! Otherwise, the dosa and mango lassi were awesome.

Great Indian cuisine, one of the best restaurants in tri city area. Lunch buffet is a real bargain, if Indian is a new cuisine to you, buffet is a good way to get acquainted. 5 stars is not enough!

Great indian when they are serving from their menu. We have been a few times for dinner when all they had was their buffet which is not nearly as impressive. Always friendly and eager to please.

Very good food. Not extremely peppery. Many items on menu. The Thali option provides soup, cucumber onion salad, several course of curry or masala and desert. Nice variety of moderate portions.

Best Indian in the TC and on par with great Indian food found in Seattle and Portland. Do not pass this place up. Worth every penny and then some. Fantastic service to seal the deal.

I ordered the butter curry and it smelled and tasted wonderful. I also got the regular and garlic naan which were on point. Definitely will be coming back to try out the lunch buffet.

Food is excellent. Ambiance is above average. Price is very good! When we asked for something it was not only provided on the buffet, but also brought to the table. Nice touch.
