Lunch buffet on 25 Nov 2015 was pretty disappointing. Several basic Indian dishes, including dal, tandoori chicken, and a chili chicken were all below par in different ways - overly salty, old-tasting, or just plain dull. Plain naan and papadum were both fine, and the raita was actually the standout. Although the restaurant was relatively empty, the combination of sound-reflective surfaces and loud/inconsiderate diners (and one of the owners) made for a noisy and irritating atmosphere. Back home 90 minutes later, and Im already paying the price for this meal...

I got delivery through Yelp on a rainy evening and it was perfect! Food came promptly, still piping hot. Our garlic and plain naans were perfectly toasty and flavorful. The chicken tikka masala was the perfect consistency and flavorful. The lamb vindaloo too was delicious. Basmati rice came with our meal too, which made everything perfect for the rainy day. Would definitely order online for delivery again.

I went there yesterday for lunch. I asked for the Onion and Chili. They said they do not have it. Can you guys believe that???? What Indian restaurant does not have onion or chili??? Unless, they do not cook the food there but brought in from somewhere. I am not going back.

The food was bland, but eatable; however, it was not worth saving the leftovers. The Nann was dry and brittle, the Chicken Vindaloo was tasteless, and greasy. The samosas were okayish, but not great. The rice was fine, but bland and dry. I would never eat here again.

I really enjoy the food the lunch Buffet is reasonable its $10 customer service is bad an older Indian woman works the register hardly smile whenever I give compliments about the food she dryly says thank U while looking down at her cell phone

Had one of the best Vegetarian Thali Plates Ive ever eaten. The dishes were well cooked but not over cooked as some Indian restaurants do. The spices were delicate but not overwhelming. If you are in Oakland I recommend having dinner here.
