This is probably the only Indian restaurant I have been to where I have been treated incredibly well by the staff. After hearing rave reviews about this place from my friend, I decided to check it out (especially since its next to one of my favorite stores in the world: Trader Joes). The first time I went, the food was pretty mediocre, but I realize now that it was probably because it was a Tuesday during what seemed to be the busiest time of their day (1pm for lunch buffet). After that experience, I didnt really feel like going back. But I gave this restaurant another try and Im SO glad I did!! The food was MUCH better (went during lunch buffet again, but around 2pm on a Saturday). I was incredibly impressed. This restaurant was also the first Indian lunch buffet that didnt give me really bad stomach cramps after eating a meal there. Its incredibly clean, and you can tell they really keep the restaurant spankin clean (even the bathroom is clean!!). I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala to go today and Im eating it right now a little cold (had some tidying up to do around the house) and its still AMAZING!! I can agree with many reviewers and say this is the best Indian restaurant I have been to in Washington State. And my stomach is happy, too, because it doesnt get horrible stomach cramps after eating there. Thanks Mayuri! I will most likely continue to eat at your restaurant from now on. Excellent food and excellent service!

management behaves rude when you show them their uncleanliness. I have heard a lot of good things about this restaurant and wanted to eat there. We had a long wait time of 35 minutes and finally we got a seat for a family of 4. When the waitress kept water my daughter noticed the cup was not cleaned properly. I asked the waitress to bring water in another cup, she asked why? I told her the cup is not clean. She used her finger and removed the dirt from the rim. I was upset and asked again, Can you please bring water in another cup. She resisted and said its very crowded and they dont have enough staff to just serve water in one table. I got upset and asked if I can talk to floor manager and one stout guy showed up and asked what is going on. I told him the details. he defended his position saying "Its the best restaurant and very busy" and sometimes there is dirt in cups and forks, people have to clean it and use it. May be he gave me the answer because I was black? I dont know. we walked out of that place.. I want to give .5 rating and there is no half rating here and they got lucky. NOT A NICE PLACE to eat with family.

Although the food at Mayuri is decent, one is put off by the horrendous service. To start with, they absoulutely do not have any flexibility in accomodating clients Ex. even if you ask for some yogurt or pickle, after you have ordered a dish like, say, bisibela bath, you will be turned down (unless you are willing to shell out >$3 and order their huge pot of yogurt). The manner in which your request is refused is also quite rude. If you ask for oderring a-la carte during buffet hours, you are told it ill take "45 mins" with no explanantion or apology or any alternate option! At least one waitress there pretty much yells all the time.. The list goes on..I go there for the food solmetimes after I have braced myself for rude waiters/waitresses.

Mayuri is a wonderful restaurant. Well staffed and clean, food doesnt take too long to arrive and while youre waiting you get to enjoy the wonderful aromas that waft through the place. I started with a hot cup of chai tea and then gorged on my Thali dinner. The food was awesome. Entrees are around $10-$12 but for about 3 bucks extra you can get the Thali Dinner, which includes your entree with a ton of side dishes and dessert. Worth it. My chicken tikka masala was succulent, the warm rice pudding dessert had such interesting and rich exotic flavors, the chai tea was delicioso. I recommend the place. Plus, its right next to Trader Joes, Can-Am Pizza, and Zen Yai Noodle House. Merica!

Disappointing Service. We used to frequent this place often for work outings. Their butter chicken and naan is good. Their other dishes are alright, but not any better than other Indian restaurants in the area. An example of lackluster service is that I called to make reservations and instead of accommodating me, they told me it was too late to make lunch reservations. Which is very difficult when they dont answer their phone until 11am. Very disappointing. We wont be back as there is a lot of competition in the area. One of which I called up immediately after they refused to take my reservation. The other place was more than happy to accommodate me.

The staff wasnt that great. Didnt know anything about the beers on tap, werent all that attentive (even though it wasnt busy) and werent very friendly. One thing that bugged me is some of the beer they "had on tap" was out. Aside from that, this is my very first visit to an Indian restaurant, and I was blown away. The flavor was really fantastic. I had the garlic naan, and tikka masala. So despite the staff, the lack of beer, and the lack of any knowledge about the beer. I have to give 5-star because the food was just too tasty.

I ordered from Mayuri using DinnerDeliverPlus services. This was my first time with this restaurant. I had ordered very simple things - tandoori roti, raita, garlic naan and mix vegetable in curry. I found that their rotis are half cooked, very thick, almost like uncooked dough has been passed to the customer. Similarly naan was also not well cooked. Raita had a strange smell, as if has some bad quality curd( yoghurt). I am not going to order again. Vegetable curry was well cooked though and it tasted well.

Good location, staff was a bit slow, food didnt excite me... I had drinks at the bar and was subjected to some Indian mtv equivalent and though I showed disinterest, the bartender didnt want to allow me to pick anything else on the TV. I get it if a bunch of guys are watching a sports event but I was the only one sitting at the bar... I might have gone back I saw they just took down the sign advertising $10 pitchers at happy hour, it seemed like a good deal to check out with a friend but now I will never know.

I was a resident of Moscow Idaho for ten years. Like the entire state of Idaho I found Moscow Idaho to be a cultural wasteland. What kept me going in Idaho was an occasional visit to Mayuri Restaurant in Bellevue WA. I loved Mayuri to the extent that I drove 289 miles each direction just to enjoy Mayrui food. Two months ago I moved to Greensboro NC. I am happy that I am far far away from Idaho. My only regret is that now I have to travel ten times the distance to get to Mayuri Restaurant.
