I am able to cross off yet another restaurant from my wish list. Hashigo is a modernized Korean restaurant catered to younger crowds with Americanized flavors. Dont get me wrong. When I say "Americanized", I dont mean food tastes bad, I just dont see anything spectacular about this Korean food coming from a Korean guy. To Japanese people, teriyaki chicken will always be just teriyaki chicken to them. One thing I must point out, all the servers seem inexperienced and clueless. They are all friendly people but I had to ask for everything at least 3 times. I thought the price was fair. I visited the restaurant with high recommendations from different people but I guess I can hold off on revisiting this restaurant for awhile.

Taste wise I would have given this place a 4.5 but the only problem was the smell and flies. I had to eat with one hand and swat all our food with the other. The seafood pancake was amazing. Its a pretty big order and can easily be shared between two people. The pancake is thick and has a hearty amount if volume of seafood. The steamed dumplings were also good. The inside had a distinct flavor to it that I cant really pin but overall it was still pretty good. The parking is a little hard depending on the time so make sure to look for parking early.

Some customers misunderstand thinking that this is a traditional Korean restaurant. Although they do offer some traditional dishes they are really known for fusion Korean such as Kalbi tacos, The Korrito (their version of a wet burrito), Chicken Wings and many others. They are all creative and delicious! Prices are reasonable and service has Bern always consistent for us. One of a kind in OC for sure.

Great cheap place to eat. I would describe it as Korean/Japanese/Mexican fusion restaurant. I usually go there for the veggie tofu stew, grilled calamari, and volcano roll. The kalbi tacos are also really good. Theres late night specials and great happy hour specials as well. Its a small place but the turnover is pretty quick in case you go during the primetime dinner hour.

Found this bomb Korean Fusion Spot here on GMAPS coming back home to SD from Westlake. Saw the good rating and decided to peep. Ordered 2 very affordable lunch specials. Everything lived up to its expectations. Well known for their wings so we tried and really good with the sauce on the side. Its now a must stop when we in Irvine.

GREAT FOOD. When the cashier says spicy she means inferno! She was very nice, and had time to explain every dish. The combo came with so much food, the only down side was that a friend of mine wanted non spicy chicken but that wasnt an option. But overall theyre food was delicious. Will be coming back soon!

Nice minimalist interior decor. Great execution on the dishes we tried: spicy fried rice, boot camp ramen and kimchi pancake. Complimentary small dishes were sweet mashed potatoes with fish cakes and kimchi. Both are are on the point as well. Would definitely come back to try other dishes.

This is one of my favorite places to get Korean Tofu Soup and its a great place to hit for their lunch special. They are most well known for their grandmas fried chicken which is a bit sweet and comes with 3 dipping sauces. The place is a little small so it isnt great for big crowds.

The best bibimbap Ive had. Whenever Im in the area I always make sure to stop in and get a bowl with bulgogi. Seating is prompt as is service, just be aware that they fill up fast during prime hours. Parking can be kind of chaotic but its worth it, even just for their banchan.

I went there for dinner for my friends birthday because this is her favorite spot. They had a fantastic burrito ("korrito") and chicken wings. the drinks were fairly priced as well as the food. I recommend this place to anybody.

We went as a party of 5, had to wait about e0 minutes, as the restaurant is rather small. Food was great. Service was great. But so cramped. And the restroom was all the way in the back of the building, past the kitchen.

We dined here about a month ago while visiting in CA. My daughter, husband and I all ordered the dolsot bibimbap and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. One of the best bi bim bap dishes weve had! Would definitely recommend!

I come here at least twice a month with my husband. You HAVE to get the daeji bulgogi or kimchi fried rice. Ugh. Now Im hungry! Open late, darkish lighting, great pineapple soju. Great customer service.

Not really Korean food. Some kind of fusion with Mexican and other food. If you know what authentic Korean food taste like youll be disappointed here. If you dont maybe itll interest you.

Very expensive, high quality meats with USDA grades on menu. If you want fancy Korean BBQ this is the place. Great service always busy and waiting list.

My favorite place to go for boot camp ramen. Parking has gotten worse over time as more popular restaurants have opened in the same parking lot.

Located in a busy strip mall, this restaurant is a go-to spot for those craving Korean food! Enjoy your food while talking to friendly waiters.

Traditional korean tofu in more younger non-typical korean environment. Plus is good food & good lunch special. Minus is limited banchan.

Low lighting ambiance. Crowd definitely died down but their food is still consistently good. Wish they still serve the radish banchan.

Soooo good! I highly recommend the curry fries, Kimchi fried rice, and Korrito! Chicken wings are good but maybe for a bigger group?
