We visited on a Saturday night. Wait was about 30 minutes. The waitress was really nice. She brought us iced barley tea and hot tea as well. There were 3 cold appetizer dishes - kimchi, radish kimchi, and a green veggie kimchi. All were delicious, especially the kimchi. We ordered: * Seolleongtang - Really good broth with a mixture of sliced brisket, flank and intestine. * Yuisoo Bulgogi - Meat and veggies were great, but the broth was a bit too sweet for our taste. * Japchae - Really tasty. Wish portion is a bit bigger. The food was good. Service was good. Portion was big. Price was reasonable. Definitely will be back again soon.

Yigah is a small restaurant that gets crowded quickly, and theres not much room to wait indoors. Most people stand outside waiting for their tables. SEOLEONG TANG ($8.99): Beef soup with choice of meat (sliced brisket, flank, intestine, or mixed); this soup tasted a little bland, so definitely add more salt to enhance the flavor. GALBI TANG ($11.99): Beef short rib soup with lots of scallions; the soup was overpowered by the white pepper and lost the flavor of beef broth. I was kind of disappointed with this, its as if I was drinking white pepper broth instead of beef soup JAPCHAE: average Banchan: 3 dishes only

Poor experience. 1. The prices - $13 for galbitang?! Insane 2. We got the ox bone soup, which is unseasoned but you season yourself with salt and other things. When my order arrived they took the salt away. Looked like they were getting ready to close for the night despite all the customers still eating / ordering. I had to ask to get the salt back. 3. The banchan - only 3 things and 2 of them did not taste good.

I came with my family. Side dishes are pretty good overall. Ate the seolleongtang, which honestly did not need any additional salt or very little. One of the better ones Ive had in a while. Does not have a super large selection, but has the basics like different bibimbaps, soups, and don katsu. They even have cheese spaghetti katsu. Pretty good overall.

I ordered the dumpling soup, and was very happy with the seasoning of the broth. The dumplings were much larger than I expected, but they were also well-seasoned. The staff was friendly, and service was relatively fast. I would return to this restaurant.

Service is good and the staff remembers you, food is very good and very reasonable. Great soups, salongtang, kalbi tang, spicy beef soup. One of my favorites is the oyster turnip rice in a hot crock. Overall nice experience.

Nice Korean restaurant. You can order the usual Korean dishes, or try their very large Fried Pork Chop; it should satisfy even the most hungry dinners. Price is reasonable for Korean in Irvine.

Good Korean food! There can be a bit of a wait and the servers are probably overworked (theyre constantly scrambling), but still a good option if you arent in a rush!

They have about 5 different soups and 6 or so Bim Bim Bap options. The food is excellent. It has a local neighborhood feeling with great service.

Good for classic korean soup (not tofu soup) but things like seoultang. Ask for barley tea instead of water!

Remodeled recently... clean and good service. Food is good too, especially hot pan mixed vegetables rice.
