I went here for lunch so I did not get the Korean BBQ. All the tables are set up as BBQ with a grill. Lunch specials do offer the typical spicy meat but is cooked in the kitchen and brought out on a sizzling plate. It is around $10 so not a bad deal around Irvine since it does come with the traditional unlimited side dish, cup of broth and rice. I had the grilled mackerel. To my surprise instead of only 1 side of an butterflied mackerel, it came with both sides, a whole fish. That is a very good size lunch portion and if that is not a fluke, it is a very good deal. Side dishes especially their kimchi was kind of blend standard fair. For lunch special around $10 I would do it again. The only 1 thing that bothers me is the lack of staff around lunch time. I think they are not expecting a real lunch crowd. May be only 10% of the dining room is filled. May be not very popular lunch spot, but I liked it.

As a typical Mom and Pop Small Korean Restaurant, the service was mediocre. Traditional koreans (around 40 years old) tend to ignore younger customers and cater more towards the WAY older adults. I had to ask for my side dishes refilled multiple times because they would either forget... or maybe they didnt really care. I had the "Gam Ja Tang" (Potato Beef Stew) Which was really delicious. It had so much dried Perilla seeds (which I personally love). Only problem I had with the food was that there was only one piece of potato in my soup. There was also a lot of vegetables in the soup that were flavorful due to the long simmer which is a process to make a good "Gam Ja Tang" Would I come back? - Only if there was nothing else better to eat. Will I ever crave this particular restaurant? - No.

Wish I could give 0 stars. THE SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. I went here 2 time (lunch and dinner). Both times the server would never come to your table even if you press the bell. I swear even if you spam the bell they will never come. So I decided to just call them when they are walking by. I tell them may I get some water and they just ignore or just say wait a bit. If you eat the All You Can Eat thing they only give you 2 hours but it take forever to order and to actually receive the food. Waiting for the server and the food just wastes all 2 hours. DO NOT GO HERE.

The food court was very clean and modern. This place probably had one of the best air conditioners in Irvine. My two coworkers and I had four different plates. We had the honey butter donkatsu, jjambbong, robot kimbab, and Thai food. They were all good! It took a while to decide what we wanted because everything there looked so good. The options there are all from Korea which was really cool. Anyone who really wants to try REAL Korean food I strongly recommend you to eat here.

Food was okay sorry ribs were limited to two per person. The service was horrible and we were close to the front where they ring up people ordered most things but they never arrived. They have a serious fly problem too. They were everywhere. Side dishes were okay and rice was done but you can get that anywhere. If you want to eat food then dont go here. My grill burned for 30 minutes and they didnt even being food even when we asked them to. If you go here good luck

Save your time and $$$, dont go to this place unless you want to serve yourself. We should have listened to "J" horrible service and our server was the manager. We arrived at 2:00pm, restaurant was empty and the service was still horrible!! We left after 25 min of no drinks, no rice and felt we were being discriminated against. If I could give this place a negative would be -5 stars. I have never walked out of a restaurant before this place.

Came from out of town and looked at other reviews before coming in. Place was clean and friendly. Side dishes and main dish were excellent. I had a short rib and cold noodles combo. This place also had a very generous lunch special hours until 4 pm. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Good food, however worse service among Korean BBQ in Irvine. Unorganized waiters and waitresses. When foods are ordered they do not come in orderly fashion, and it does not matter who orders first, but if you sre lucky enought to get a waiter that will actually remember your order.

They have a nice interior and a simple menu.The portion size is great and the bitmap tastes surprisingly fresh and not too oily.I would recommend going in no more than groups of 3.It is a bit out of the way for anyone who doesnt live in buck town/wicker park area though.

Worst service ever! The staff is totally unorganized! We got our meat first before our grill. This place is AYCE but after the second round the waitress placed our receipt on our table assuming we were done. If I would give it a 0 star I would.

Came in on a weekday lunchtime. Service was swift. I was immediately treated by 8 Korean small dishes. Loved all of them. My main dish was spicy noodle soup. Spice level was just right: great kick but not overly spicy. Highly recommend.

Korean BBQ in a slightly more refined setting. Good service, nice booths with lots of space, all you can eat options up to $25 per person. Decent selection of appetizer plates and lots of meat to choose from.

Excellent Korean bbq! First time ever eating Korean and it became my favorite. Lots of delicious small bowls of widely different flavors of food. Then the meat being cooked directly on your own table. Awesome!
