I am not a picky restaurant patron, but this place really fried me. I ordered the Wasabi Bowl which I have eaten three times in the past but this time the main ingredient was PICKLED GINGER. I told this to the girl who brought our food and she said that most people like that amount . After she passed by a few times making sure to flash us the stank eye, I spoke to our waitress. I pointed out to her that ginger is a condiment and she half way agreed and offered up the manager. He tried to tell me that this was a normal serving of freakin ginger. Having never eaten ginger as a main course I told him that previously there was the normal two or three tiny slices and that what he was saying just wasnt true. I know that times are hard for many eateries these days, but throwing in a literal fist sized lump of ginger as filler in a $16.50 bowl of poke and rice even at a glorified chain restaurant is ridiculous. I asked for a take out box for the ginger to show my friends and it filled up half way to the top. They did knock off the $9 charge for the 1/2 a glass of bad Chardonnay (a weak pour anywhere), but having to listen to them tell me that the altered version of what I had eaten a few times previous was the norm, I felt compelled to throw out my first Yelp post about my last trip to this BS joint. Rude help, bad food, oblivious management....Dont waste your time, Its just another pretentious fast-food rip off. If you want to go to a chain seafood restaurant you might try the Fish Market or Sams Chowder House in Palo Alto or Half Moon Bay. Jeez.........

This restaurant has been in its present location for several years now and I have no idea why I havent gone before today!!! Quite good! Booked a 12:30 lunch for 8 people from my office through Open Table which turned out to be a good idea. Was quite busy when we got there but our table was ready. Service was prompt and friendly, orders for apps and drinks taken and delivered quickly. Baja Shrimp Ceviche, Thai Coconut Shrimp, Sweet Potato Fries and Cabo Calamari. Each was good in its own way but the Calamari was good enough to order a second order of it! They take thin slices of lemon and coat them along with the calamari and then deep fry them to serve in the order. Be sure to give them a try, their quite good! Cocktail I ordered was the Chipotle Margarita. Spicy and delicious, I enjoyed it! I ordered the Wasabi Ahi Sandwich - grilled rare ahi with ginger, avocado, daikon sprouts & ginger-wasabi aioli all on a nice chewy roll. It was quite good but more bun than I needed. Plenty of tuna though!!! My coworker ordered the Vietnamese Steak - marinated grilled steak, seasoned cucumber-daikon-carrot salad, sliced chilies, cilantro & sriracha aioli. It looked great and she loved it. Very full at the end but the group insisted on ordering the Macadamia Nut Brownie Sundae – with vanilla ice cream, toasted coconut & chocolate sauce. It was huge and even with 5 of us sharing there was leftovers! Very rich but I cant imagine anyone being able to finish one of their own! Overall, very good! Ill be back!

+ awesome sushi rolls and rice bowls, + great brews from the tap, + contemporary atmosphere, + good happy hour Contrary to the small branch in San Francisco this Pacific Catch is a large restaurant with a bar and dining area. During Happy Hour from Mon-Fri from 4-6pm they serve $5 appetizers, including yummy sushi creations and $3 beer at the bar. I highly recommend trying the sushi rolls in the restaurant since they are to die for and addicting. Same applies for the rice bowls. This branch is great to have dinner with friends or enjoy a nice evening as couple though it sometimes can be very loud. Besides the great food, they also have good brews from West Coast microbreweries you shouldn’t miss if you like beer. Average entrée: $15, Mega sushi rolls $10 – 13.

I went here on a Tuesday, and it wasnt busy at all. Even so, my waitress lagged on our table like it was Saturday night. We waited 45min for our appetizers, even then, mine didnt come out til after we had eaten our entrees. Our food was served to us cold, and when confronted about the matter, our waitress just brought us her boss instead of dealing with our concerns herself. Nevertheless, the food was still very tasty and my drinks were uber strong. Which may or may not have been why my food was so delicious.. Id still recommend this place because they have a ton of cocktails and a variety of food to choose from.

We went here to celebrate a birthday. After only one drink made it to the table we had to ask several times for the kids drinks that arrived when food came out. The food came out at different times and the wrong food at that. Even though the waitress said she simply picked up the wrong bowl up we were still billed more for a meal we didnt order. The fish was soggy and tiny sides for the kids, like 10 fries. Complaining to the manager didnt seem to yield much more help and they did nothing to celebrate or mark the birthday, not even a scoop of ice cream. Used to be much better service and food.

Pacific Catch offers a ton of options for any time you are just looking for seafood but nothing in particular. I generally prefer take-out here. The restaurant is usually very crowded and service is just ok. The food is great but it feels a bit chaotic when actually dining at the restaurant. If you dont mind that or the fact that parking can likewise be a challenge then you can enjoy the huge menu, with everything including cocktails and sushi. If you dont want to fight the crowds you can always order from your usual take-out services or pick up yourself.

I ordered a dish from kid menu for take out, but didnt get the vegi and fruit that ARE INCLUDED in the meal (explicitly said on the menu). When I talked to them, they told me "Oh, we generally dont have that, but if you ask we can give you". Then why bother putting that on the menu if they dont come with the dish?!!! Totally not honest to their customer. Will never visit again.

Loved this place. Really fresh and creative food. Also loved the modern interesting decor and ambiance. We have been here several times and are never disappointed. My favorite is the Thai Curry bowl with half lettuce. The Poke is phenomenal, sweet potato fries, tacos, all good. Always good specials and great drinks as well. We will probably eat there tonight.

Interesting menu, lots of seasonal dishes, very good service, moderately priced. After numerous visits, Ive never had anything less than a B++ experience and that was during a change of ownership. Otherwise, straight As. Full bar, and on Tuesdays half of any bottle of wine. Try the calamari appetizer; its on the rich side, but spicy and delicious.

I love food. I love a great menu. This place tastes like Chef Ramseys step uncle from California decided to ask his deaf and blind dog to taste the food and yelp if it was nasty. I wouldnt bring the high school bully that used to beat me up to this place. Some flavors dont belong together. I will stick with the burgers in cali from now on.
