Delicious food! Prompt service! Friendly staff! This was our first time here. We couldnt decide on what to get so we decided to order as many things as we could. The two of us shared one bowl of clam chowder, one plate of Caesar salad. We followed that with the tempura veggie platter and roasted scallops for appetizers. We finished with the seafood sampler platter and a half bowl of fettuccine crab pasta. Even though we shared all of that, we still couldnt finish over half the food. We barely touched the pasta! There was so much food left over that when we tried to pour the food into the containers we accidentally dropped the pasta. The manager immediately came over and helped. He told the staff to cook another plate for us to take home and try. It was entirely our clumsy fault for dropping the pasta all over the floor. Instead of being angry over the mess, they gave us free food to replace. Amazing! Were coming back for sure! (And bringing more people to help us eat so we dont have that much left over.)

Im from Louisiana and I sometimes miss the food. Blue Water is one of the few places I can go for fried catfish, boiled shrimp, and hushpuppies to get my comfort food. Their happy hour specials run all day EXCEPT 6pm to 10pm. This means that even after 10pm, I can go to Blue Water and get catfish off the happy hour menu for less than a meal at McDonalds (and obviously way better). Their drinks from the bar are tasty and generous in size. The food tastes great. The people who work here are always friendly and welcoming. Its one of my favorite restaurants! Tip: They get a little full when theres a game on (esp. Warriors), but theyre mostly at the bar and weve always been able to get a seat.

First off its a cool looking restaurant when u first walk in, until u look closer. Paper table cloths, paper towel rolls on table, fork and knife wrapped n a paper towel. The waitress was attractive but I think she thought that meant people would just tip her based on looks only. Her service was horrible and the food was awful, bland , over cooked, some items were over seasoned while others were not seasoned at all. The hush puppies were burnt, steak burnt on outside almost raw on inside, then the bill comes $45 plus tip? Wont b back again, Id rather have a filet-o-fish

I used Doordash to order from here. First time for this place for me and they offered free delivery so why not. I ordered Tempura Fried Mushroom, Clam Chowder and the Crab & Shrimp Louie Salad. The food was pretty good, the order and delivery was pretty impressive. The reason I gave four stars is because they charged $9.99 for a bowl of chowder but it was more like a cup, so it was an expensive cup of soup. I wouldnt mind trying this place out to eat in with the hubby and see what he thinks.

The restaurant is clean and has an open feel to it. Once you first walk in, youll notice a life size great white robotic shark hanging from the ceiling. Then you are greeted and treated like family. The food is cooked fresh and has plenty of flavor. The portions are plenty. They also feature the local sports teams in HD with plenty of viewable angles for their tvs mounted around the restaurant. I strongly suggest Blue Water, especially for either a pre or post Sharks game visit.

Came here a bunch of times with the Groupon deal for dinner for 2. Great place to come and eat seafood or just drink. Servers are always friendly and the owner usually goes around the shop asking how everyones food is. The shark tank and fish bowl alcoholic drinks are a must try. Always love drinking either of those two while eating shrimp/crab. If you sit in the back and eat, you usually can watch Finding Nemo while eating...fish

This is a relatively new place not too far from downtown willow glen. Plenty of fresh crab (including stone crab!), lobster, and other seafood. A casual & fun atmosphere, the staff was enthusiastic, friendly & offered helpful suggestions. Great full bar and some very good house drinks made from top shelf liquor, not the cheapo stuff. I recommend the shark tank and the titanic margarita on the rocks.

We discovered the buckets here and come back once or twice a month. Its a non-crowded way to get bags of steamed seafood without standing in line like some other places where could wait for over an hour to be served or seated. And it is super tasty too. Awesome place to plop down after a long day and have some grub and a beer.

I thought I found a diamond in the rough but NO way. This place has a variety of oysters I will given them that. Extremely disappointing food. No lobster or crab as they were cleaning the tank? I dont even have words for the waitress It was an effort. Great atmosphere and the friendly male bartender is the only positive.

Went on the Friday of Fleet week. Had to wait about 40 minutes in line but well worth it! Had a mixed oyster plate and a half sashimi plate. My taste buds and tummy have never been happier. The staff was gregarious, knowledgeable, and were a huge part of what was a fantastic overall experience. Would 100% recommend.

Similar to Crab Hut. Can do standard seafood plates or by the bucket.. the bucket was good size and price was decent. Little light in the crab as there was way more potatoes and clams/mussels to account for the weight. Biggest complaint was that probably 1/4 of our clams/mussels were still closed.

Man! Excellent sauce. My sister and I tried hard to figure out what was in the sauce but couldnt quite get it. Worth another trip to figure it out. Excellent service and big thank you for the birthday wishes and to my little sister for the treat that was a treat!

Always love it here :) its usually not very lively, but the good is amazing and decent prices! Lots to choose from if you dont love seafood as well. Highly recommend the seafood pound buckets with lemon + garlic sauce combo. Staff is also always lovely.

Colleague of mine just went there and made a point of telling me first thing this morning about it. Prices were "insane" (in some cases 3x the comparable item at Fish Market Restaurant), and the food made him sick later that night.

A great addition to the unique collection of restaurants in Willow Glen. This a is perfect place to enjoy seafood and more served by a family run, nice staff. Also a good place to stop in & have a beer on your way home.

If you want shrimp, Blue Water is the place for you. Its a shrimp boil with potatoes and corn on the cob. You can get different sauces put on it. They have a lot of other things on their menu to select from also.

Nice relaxed atmosphere. Had the 3 pound bucket using a Groupon. Great value, great experience. The waitress was pleasant, and the seafood was very fresh and delicious. The lunch tacos were excellent also!
