Asked for a quesadilla and got a tortilla with hardly any cheese that was off a panini press. Get the panini press idea, better way to do it, but add some cheese, and a side of sour cream, not the nasty limp lettuce drowning in mass produced balsamic and a slice of tomato that should have gone on my grilled chicken sandwich....should have gone on my grilled chicken sandwich...only my grilled chicken sandwich was a nasty pile of I dont know what. It had to have been about 10 slices of Velveeta singles melted between 2 slices of yesterdays leftover bread, and the fries that came with it, cold limp and undercooked. Sorry man, just didnt come close to what I had asked for on any of it.

This is a Peruvian restaurant that also makes other dishes. My group got a mixed bag. The Chicken Quesadilla was literally just chicken and cheese on a tortilla. The chicken sandwich was better. The prices are a little high for what you get. They have a wonderful liter of passion fruit in a box.

THIS PLACE IS DELICIOUS!!! In an unsuspecting corner of Burlingame. Chef one-man-band Jorge is such a pleasure too. I cannot over-recommend New World Cafe . If justice does him right, he will be going places.
