Wow! Its hard to beat all the wonderfully positive reviews people have written about Zameen. My wife and I dine there about every 2 weeks. The owner Ed and his staff are very attentive. Fabulous food with a great diversity in flavors. The open kitchen, casual cozy atmosphere, good portions and very fresh ingredients make this a wonderful choice. They have a nice selection of wines by the glass or bottle. My favorite is the spicy chicken wrap (not really spicy but tangy). It is really great to have a locally owned and operated restaurant with very reasonable prices where you walk away feeling like wow, that was one really good meal. I wish we had more places like Zameen in Aptos! P.S. The flat bread it to die for!

My current favorite in the area - great salads, abundant & flavorful. Love the "spicy" chicken on Greek salad, but its not really spicy. Very customized meal, you pick the kabob, pick the salad, pick the sauce... lots of veggie options. Have been here 30 times in last 2 years and its consistently very good. Causal, order @ counter, and a little pricey considering its not a "proper sit down restaurant" (my grandma taught me that a "proper restaurant" means tablecloth & cloth napkins :) BUT, one meal platter & an ap is plenty for 2 of us. On the upside of that casual, my son usually pops next door for a burrito, and we eat on the patio with a nice mix of everyone getting what they want.

I went to this restaurant two weekends ago and Im ready to go back! The food was really fresh, and the service was fast and friendly. The restaurant is organized so you order your food, get a number and sit down, and then someone brings your food to you when its ready. I like this style because your meal comes much faster than it would in other restaurants. Recommendations? I went with a group of 6 and we all ordered platters. I had chicken with mediterranean salsa (you pick a sauce), which was great, but Id say the lamb and steak were the best! Thats what Id get next time. And the brownies for dessert are a must!!

Wow, what a pleasant surprise. Kinda between places (Aptos & Soquel) but in a very comfortable small shopping center lives Zameen. The food is Mediterranean but the flavors created are uniquely delicious. Clearly the chefs understand "fresh" and it is reflected in both presentation and flavor. Inside or outside, the environment is favorable for that intimate conversation and delectable nourishment. Try it. You will love it.

10/12/2014 This place was great. I had the spicy chicken pita wrap. The thing was huge. When I walked in it was too warm inside, because the kabob flames were screaming, outside was perfect though. The server was nice and very knowledgeable about the menu. A few twists of limón, a dash of chili and salt would of made my pita perfect... but thats just my preference. I would definitely go again.

Ive eaten here several times now and Ive not yet had a good meal. The rice (the hallmark of any great Mediterranean restaurant) tastes like old water and metal (and it has every time). I know others who have had great experiences, but unfortunately I cant give this one a good review.

May be the best place to eat in Aptos. My wife and I go here every Friday for lunch. Their dinners are AMAZING! I can not get enough of their desserts. This place is a jewell. Were so stoked that they opened their Capitola spot. That place is beautiful!

A great lunch spot for my small family on the weekends. Weve also catered with them for my sons birthday party - they did a great job! Very nice owners and servers. The restaurant itself is likewise a very pleasant place to eat.

Zameen has tasty, fresh food, but their prices are a bit high, especially for a casual lunch place. I felt that $12.50 for a Falafel Salad was a bit much. Friendly service and a nice outdoor seating area.
