If you have read my reviews, you know that I am a sucker for diners and diner food. Maybe its my obsession with all things vintage and all-American or maybe its just that I am a simple girl. Ive been here several times and each time I leave happy. Service- Nice, attentive waiters. Usually seated quickly. With groups it takes a bit longer but it is worth the wait. Atmosphere- I get a 50s vibe from it. They have a jukebox with some old and some modern artists. They play 50s music on the radio. Very clean and well kept. What Ive eaten: Club Sandwich- Quintessential diner food. Classic sandwich, nothing too crazy so you can focus on just enjoying it. Very good! Avocado Bacon Cheeseburger- Again, very good. Juicy without being too greasy. Breakfast Quesadilla- I had been craving a quesadilla for god knows how long. This was sooooooo goooooood. Then again, I may be biased because it was exactly what I was craving. Mimosa- Delicious. They brought out our orange juice and champagne but also cute little refills of our orange juice so we could decide how we wanted it mixed. Coffee- They kept the coffee comin like a good diner should. Great for groups, on you own or with a few friends, especially after a busy night. They close at 2am on Friday/Saturday so if you want diner food after partying all night then be sure to get here by then Went back the other night and tried: 1. Arrogant Bastard Ale was delicious and potent. Watch out for that one! 2. French Dip Sandwich. Personally, I wasnt super impressed. Au Jus was fantastic, but the bread was soft. The problem with soft bread and a french dip sandwich is that the bread gets soggy super easy. The first half of my sandwich was not soggy but the second half was so soggy that I resorted to just cutting it up and dipping it in the Au Jus. Still tasted great, but alas, not my favorite.

Diner On Main is a midsize diner with outside seating located on Main Street. Ive been to other diners around the area and DOMs service needs improvement. I went to DOM for breakfast on Friday morning and sat by the bar (front of the kitchen); I ordered Belgian waffle combo and I waited ~41 mins! Diner wasnt even busy or crowded. The reason was because the old lady, waitress, "forgot to place my order" and I was very disappointed. I believe what really happened was my Belgian waffle was served to another customer who ordered the same thing. The funny thing was that I ordered first prior to that customer who just arrived at the diner. Furthermore, as I asked for the check she inadvertently swapped my bill and another customers bill who is seating beside me. Luckily I noticed the error. Needless to say, she sincerely apologized, however, no customer should have waited that long. Luckily I was very patient and understanding. The waffle, sausage and eggs tasted good. The diner is clean and neat. Prices are relatively $ affordable. Staff are friendly. Plenty of parking. Next time Im gonna try their pancakes. Overall, I recommend DOM for breakfast/lunch but staff really need to improve their management, communication and organizational skills because a lot of food is being mixed up. Note: I will update this review.

First of all this is my first time here I walk in and go to the front my wife asks if we sit ourselves or wait to be seated , there are like 5 servers including some little Hispanic lady whom I believe was the manager not sure and they all look at us like were asking a stupid question after about like literally 15 sec pause she acknowledged us and said "yes right over here " . So she takes us to a dark dirty table by the corner Im guessing juts because we have a baby with a carseat SMH... I tell her no I dont want to sit there .. so I proceeded to choosing my own booth were we are at least visible , we sit down and again I have to ask her to get us menus over here she gives me this horrible look like shes using the restroom or something she walks to our table and just puts the menus down on the table does not even say someone will be right with you or anything and just walks away. Horrible customer service I will never step foot in this place ever ! I have worked in the restaurant industry for 17 Years and one thing that they trained us to do is customer service is prime , making eye contact and acknowledge the customer asap when they enter the restaurant this is by far the worst place ever rather go to Dennys way better customer service and happy atmosphere

First of all we ordered some buffalo wings and bbq wings, for starters . The hot wings were cold and the bbq flavored ones barely warm. We also ordered shrimp fried rice, and the shrimp tasted like refrigerator. And who puts corn on shrimp fried rice, worst plate ever. Beer battered fish sliders were ok and they gave us french fries when we specifically asked for sweet potatoe fries! Place is over priced and mediocre food quality. It was a party of four by the way and my turkey burger was ok. Overrated anybody giving this place more than three stars, was or is either drunk as hell from Azul Bar.

i ordered the chicken fried steak and it was pretty good. i ordered the gravy on the side because i usually get overwhelmed if too much is put on and that was a close one, they give you a little cup on the side filled up! if you love gravy go for it. my girlfriend ordered their crab sandwich which she figured shouldve been good because they have it squared off and underlined, but ultimately it left much to be desired she wasnt too full after that. sweet potato fries were delicious though.

I always liked The Diner especially the retro music, I found it to be part of the pleasant eating experience. However,my last and it will be my last visit my husband and I were forced to listen to an entire hour of Mariah Carey. Why? Because the hostess decided so. I complained but to no avail, Mariah screeched on in the background pleasing only the self-centered hostess. The customer is considered retro at The Diner.

2 stars for front desk service -- everyone walked by us, not even a busy day, no eye contact, until we asked them do we seat our selves? 4 stars for our waitress who clearly looked overworked, but made her best attempts to serve us well. I didnt blame her. Food: steak and eggs, plus a free yelp deal for onion ring tower. I thought the steak was great for 14 or so bucks. Classic diner in the city of Alhambra!

I had a first date here. I really love the retro feel to this place. Everyone is friendly and the food is delicious. I love eating the meatloaf and the chicken covered in this white cheese with mashed potatoes. So goooood. The prices average around the 9 dollar area which isnt too bad. On Wednesdays, they have classic cars in the parking lot. Really cool to see. This is a great place to dine.

Small town diner atmosphere playing great 50s music (Theres a jukebox too!). Theres a bar area thats separated from the family dining by a dividing wall. Food and service is good too :) Got the Bacon, Swiss, Avocado Burger which is great with the thousand island dressing they give you on the side. Sister got the Bacon Fried Rice with Portugese sausage and she liked it :p
