My son fell asleep and did not eat his salad bar. I asked for a box so I can place my Dinner and his whole salad bar plate. i was given two boxes. A small one and a large one. As I was placing my son lunch in the box a waiter places his hand on my shoulder and says"You Should not do that". Confused on why I heard that my girlfriend goes to the cashier and ask the employee if what I did was OK. That same time the waiter comes back and said I stole from the salad bar!!!!!!! My girlfriend ask to speak to a manager, it so happens that my waiter was the OWNER!!!! My girlfriend says this is the worse customer service ever! Then the owner threatens to call the police for stealing the food that my son never ate! Disgusted by the way I was treated I wanted to leave. But my mother in law was not finished. She ask for a box to take her dinner home and was denied. A new waiter says that he will have to box it for her. My mother in law replies " I dont want you touching my food "! New waiter replies i have gloves so i wont. I jump in and ask if he can watch my mother in law place her own food in the box. The new waiter agrees. After she boxed her own food we left and left my sons salad bar behind . My bill was about $85.00. I could have went to a much nicer place for that. So if your in a restaurant and the owner is your waiter GET OUT cause hes not doing something RIGHT!!!!

Oh how times have changed!!! I use to love this Sizzler, but in the last 3 years its definitely has gone down hill. My most recent visit re-confirmed the sad truth. First the "all you can eat salad bar" is just that salad! The mighty salad bar has salad that has definitely been sitting there all day and at 11.99... Wow! The salad was soggy and the croutons tasted like they were from last week. Second the onion rings were mushy and not crisp at all. The wings were all soggy on the outside and red in the middle. Third I ordered a steak skewer and shrimp with potatoes and veggies. The steak was cut in slices the size of quarters. The shrimp had no seasoning and the potatoes again seemed like theyve been sitting out all day. They were dry and extremely chewy. The only thing that was good was the warm cheese toast they bring you when you first sit down. Even the Pepsi was flat. I asked my waiter if the soda was fresh and she told me she had just poured it. I do have to say the people are always kind and happy to serve you. Unfortunately the food is no longer like it was in Sizzlers glory days. Its sad to say but I will no longer return to eat at Sizzler, the end of an era has come.

We didnt wait too long to go inside!! We ordered crab back, oysters, cherry stone clams, clam chowder, and bread.The waiter recommended us to dip the bread with the juice in the crab back. It was very delicious. The oysters and clams were also fresh and delicious!!!! The clam chowder is watery and strong clam taste, but I still like it. Will def. go again before I leave Downey, CA !!!!!

The ambrosia salad was spoiled, the salad bar was ok, the "famous" clam chowder tasted funny (not like the typical clam chowder and even the color was off it was kind of gray ish... the hot food bar had very little options and the food was cold and dry. Very very disappointed. Should have gone to the Golden Coral down the street.

Corn nuggets wow have been looking for a,long time ...the search is over they are here. Great Food , great service , clean restaurant , good variety at salad bar. This is a nice place for family dining or to stop by at lunch time . They are great...love this place...

Enjoyed a family meal and they even sang Happy Birthday to my brother. Dedicated workers who seem to do more with what they have. The place seems pretty old but well maintained. Food was great, had no complaints. You get what you paid for.

Typical Sizzler. They do have great burgers and excellent salad bar (additional $5.99 to your meal). Staff here are on the friendly and attentive side, something you dont see much anymore.

Food is old. Menudo is terrible, looks like mud from sitting there all day. When I told them about the menudo I was told thats all they had...:-(
