Great service and fairly large portions. Our server (Maria) was exceptionally friendly and attentive to our needs. We ordered a TON of food (I ordered Gyoza, tuna nachos, Crazy roll, and spicy tuna roll. My father ordered a huge sashimi platter, and my uncle and grandma also each ordered a full meal). I was able to finish everything too but we all were fairly full. With a little bit of alcohol for my father and uncle, our bill came to just under $130 or so. Not bad for the amount of food we ordered. Each of the dishes also provided us with generous portions of fish. They definitely do NOT skimp here! I would definitely come here again!

This is the one that used to be Crane Sushi. Its a cool place to watch a game and drink sake bombs. I always order the chirashi, its the best bang for your buck. This is a place people go to when they are tired of waiting in the Boiling Crab line. The bathrooms are just a little bit better than a gas stations. If you wash your hands you can see a guys peen in the urinal next to you... wait for the stall unless you are packing then take your time while you surprise Chinese dudes.... lol. Decent place and I cant smell their fish, which is always a good thing. Splurge on some Uni you will be in heaven.

Went to Tomomi Sushi early on a weekend night as a large group, and the restaurant staff worked really well to handle our groups unique needs. I was really impressed with the ability to handle the multiple varied requests that everyone had. Plus, the waiters really knew the menu inside and out, so their large menu was a little less intimidating. The only drawback was the plastic dishes, otherwise everyone would have enjoyed their time. Personally I recommend the Sunset roll and a pitcher of beer, but feel free to find something that matches your desires (you totally can when they have so many choices)!

Went to this restaurant at around 7 on a Sunday as a party of 2. They were a little busy, but nothing unreasonable. We waited about 30 minutes to be seated, which is fine. Then we promptly had our drink order taken. They were brought to us in about 5 or so minutes since it was just water. Then we sat there for almost another 20 minutes without a single acknowledgement that we would have our actual order taken. After about 25 minutes and an attempt to get the attention of a waiter or waitress we just walked out. Thanks for the free water and a waste of time.

The waiting area is warm . We were hoping to get out of the heat. It is 105 degrees outside. Once we were seated away from the front door and other people it was much better. Our server was busy but greeted us in a friendly manner. The miso soup was nice, not too salty with little cubes of tofu. Broth for udon was nice and slightly smoky tasting. Noodles not too mushy. Sushi was nice balance of flavors with not too much rice. The salmon was flaky with sweet teriyaki sauce. Dinner and lunch special are a good deal for consitently good sushi. Family fav!

The service was over an hour and there was barely anyone in the restaurant, our sushi was falling apart and not very good, they over charged me on my bill because they didnt update the menus saying that some of the prices went up I think they should put that down somewhere so you know, not very good service and they restaurant is fairly bland. There is a much better up the street I think a block over walking past The StarBucks and their sushi was much better tasted pretty good its small and prices are great, service I recommend you go there.

I went here for dinner with a group of 4 on a Sunday. It wasnt busy at all. This was my second visit. The food is ok for the price so I decided to return. I had a dinner combo with sashimi and a roll. Unfortunately, my salmon roll had a piece of hair in it. I didnt feel like being whiner that I night I just wanted to eat, so I avoided that piece. There was also a piece of my sashimi that was extra chewy, definite turn off. Im not sure if I would make another visit for a while.

This place was surprisingly delicious! It used to be Crane Sushi and looks just the same on the inside. My best friend and I came here to grab dinner before watching a movie. We decided to get a few rolls to share. We tried the Snowcone Roll, Lotus Roll and Rainbow Roll which were all good. The service was good and the food was tasty. We just parked at the movie theater and walked over for dinner. Overall, a good place for special sushi rolls or a quick Japanese meal.

HORRIBLE! I dont know if we caught them on an off night or what, but it was pretty much all terrible. The spicy tuna was not right - so overly spicy and not the typical flavor. Most of the rest was bland. The only thing that was good was the tuna carpaccio. The prices were higher than I expect to pay too. Go to Octopus Sushi in Glendale, Burbank, Downtown, or Long Beach instead. This place is no good.

Such a great spot for sushi in Alhambra. They have really good quality fare and a seriously wide array of offerings. What makes it better is the two for one happy hour! While I really liked the rolls and the sashimi, the yakitori was legit! Got the chicken hearts and they were done perfectly, not gamey but with that hint of iron. Get up in here and start feasting.

The baked scallop, volcano, and cactus were hella good and worth the price, they come with 8-9 pieces. The sides on the bento are decent, i personally would not recommend it and would just stick to the premium sushi rolls. Service was great and all the waiters were kind and checked up on us every now and then. Best sushi place ive ever been to.

They have pretty decently priced combos for lunch. You can get a good meal here. I wouldnt say the fish here is entirely fresh, but you get what you paid for. The only thing I have to say is that they must do something about their flies. I cannot get a good meal in without a fly trying to fly into my food every 5-10 seconds.

The food is a 3 star, but the happy hour is a 5 star! I had skewers (chicken gizzard and other goodies) which was decent. The following week I had a teriyaki bento dinner box, which the sushi wasnt all that great, but chicken was ok. Come during happy hour to get your drinking fix!

My first time coming here and the service was fast and friendly! I really love there lunch special it beats other places 3 items for 13.95 or 2 items for 10.95. The chicken teryaki was one of the best I had it has a kick to it. The sushi was also really good :D
