I have gone to tropical smoothie for the last 4 years because it is near my work and the company I work for had set up a business agreement that offers us a percentage off our order. I have always had a great experience there but the last two times I have ordered from them I have had the worst customer service experience from the same cashier. Last time the cashier was really rude to me off the bat but I brushed it off assuming she had just had a bad day. I had asked for my company discount and she said she wasnt familiar with it so they must not offer it. When I asked her to check she said she had been there for a couple of months so she would know. It wasnt worth making a big deal about so I paid full price and left. Today I went in and the same cashier was at the front so I didnt even bother asking for the discount but the cashier was still really rude. I placed my order and went back to work only to find my order was made COMPLETELY wrong. When I called in the same cashier answered and I asked to speak with the manager this is how the conversation went. Me Hello I would like to speak to the manager, is she available? Her no shes not here Me ok... Do you know when she will be back? Her ummm I dont know. Ummm Maybe Sunday (giggle)... Me maybe Sunday? Ok, can I have her name please Her Ummmmm... Me your managers name, please? Her Kim? Me And what is your name? Her Clarissa? I clearly wasnt going to get any help from this girl so I ended the conversation at that point

This place has amazing smoothies, i always love the bahama mama but unfortunatly this particular location has absolutely TERRIBLE customer service and today around 4:15, I came in to get a couple of smoothies with some friends and a particular young lady had the worst customer service skills ive ever seen from this place. She did not greet us or smile and after taking our order we sat and watched her stand around and drink her own smoothie instead of making the smoothies that i had just ordered and PAID FOR! After 5 minutes of standing around and slurping on her own smoothie, she had finally decided to start making our smoothies but still continued to drink her OWN drink as she did it. I spent over 15 minutes watching and waiting as other customers recieve their smoothies while I still continued to wait for mine. When i finally got my smoothie, it wasnt even the correct smoothie but instead of apologizing, the staff acted as if it was my fault that THEY made the wrong smoothie and that I was the one waisting THEIR time. The service today has been so terrible and has taken so long i have sat here and written this review just waiting for them to complete my order.

I used to come here for lunch and decided to get a Chai banana smoothie. The guy who was originally helping me, informed me it was a seasonal smoothie however could make a banana peanut butter smoothie. I was totally fine and happy with my order until the Manager comes to the cashier and makes a HUGE scene. He literally yelled at the guy making the smoothie, telling him he cant make the smoothie and to drop everything. The Manager has no professional skills at all and made it EXTREMELY uncomfortable as he yelled at his employee. I cancelled my order and left the place, never again! I take it making a banana + peanut butter smoothie needs to be approved by corporate in order for these guys to make it. The Manager at this location is totally rude and has no customer service skills at all. Seriously, what smoothie place doesnt make or customize a smoothie/drink to the customers liking? Good luck staying in business! A few locations I highly recommend besides this place - Nekter Juice Bar, TeaStreet, Pomegranate Cafe, and Bahama Bucks!

The employees are the slowest I believe in the entire universe! We placed a to go order and the girl asked how long til we arrived I advised 5 minutes, we got there in 10 and I still had to wait not 5 not 10 not even 15 but 20 minutes mind you there was NO ONE there and two employees working. The one up front completely ignored me until idk she woke up after I announced Im here for a to go order which was right in front of her she grabbed my smoothies set them on the counter and walked away, at first I thought ok maybe she doesnt know how to work a simple register, until she rang up the guy behind me?! What the heck? At the end of the day these people may serve awesome smoothies but the customer service and time efficiency really makes it hard to rate this place well. Be sure you have at least 20 minutes set aside when visiting this place!

I work around the corner from the Priest and Warner location. I thought it would be a good idea to go there for a quick and low cal lunch. After multiple trips that went wrong, I thought I will give it a try again today. It is horrible, the line was going out the door. 1 person in the kitchen and 1 person making smoothies and working on the register at the same time. I waited in line for 15 minutes until she caught up with everyone else waiting. There was no greeting, no I am sorry folks, nothing for 15 minutes. I ordered my food and waited another 15 minutes for it to come out of the 1 person kitchen. My smoothie was watered down. I asked her to fix it, she added more ice to it. Probably one of the worst smoothies i ever had from there. Maybe a few more employees would be helpful to keep customers coming back.

I have been going here for years but lately they have not even been trying to make the smoothie right. We get the Chia Banana Booster Smoothie and one girl in particular does not know how to make it. It comes to us thick we cannot even drink through the straw and huge chunks of peanut butter, banana and dates not mixed. When other people make it, its delicious. We pay almost $6.oo for a smoothie. It should be good and consistent each time if they followed directions.:( Very unsatisfied! They have her make them again and still same problem. Manager should step up and make themselves if they cannot train their staff to follow directions. Miniumum wage we should expect more at $10 an hour. I save to go get a smoothie so I can eat healthier, so spending money on worthless smoothies is sad:(

Im not the type to leave reviews but after tonight I was a must!!! I love Tropical Smoothie but too many times at this particular location Ive been disappointed. As stated before in previous reviews extremely SLOW service. 1 person taking order. 1 person making them. Youre garuanteed to WAIT at minimum 20min for your order. The quality of employees they hire is TERRIBLE. Im sorry to say but majority of them look like crackheads that just walked in off the corner. Are always unsure of how to do their job. Tonight the guy working over night kept touching his face prior to making my food. I insisted he change his gloves it was awful man. Think I may stop coming here all together honestly.
